I reckon that when we should have Kilkenny on the bench against Charlton and that when we play Scunthorpe we should start Kilkenny and Kuqi, and have Oji on the bench. It would be an ideal opportunity to see how they perform in a competetive match.

I still believe, however, that they would also benefit from a short-term loan to get even more regular experience.

I would go one step further and say that Oji should start agaisnt Scunny. It will give us a chance to see the startings of and Oji/Upson pairing and Kenny could be rested. He is not going to be able to maintain a 3 game week at times during the season so this could be tested out as an option.

Kuqi and Forssell should be given a go together and i would also be tempted to give Nick Wright or Peter Till a run out on one of the wings as well.

I'm not sure about blooding too many at the same time, because we still want to win this game. I think we need a good blend of youth and experience.

I am a huge admirer of both Till and Wright, but I think Wright is still too much of a raw talent and is not yet ready. Till could be ready for a place on the bench though.

He is a raw talent and i think he will come good.

We do need a balance of youth and experience but i think if we started with Kuqi, Kilkenny and Oji and have the rest as experienced players then thta is a fair balance. I would have the bench as a comibination of youth and experienced players so if we are winning comfortably we can bring the young lads on and if we are struggling, we have the experienced players to call upon.

I'm going to disagree about Kuqi, the times I have seen him he has looked too lightweight & can get knocked off the ball too easily. I'm happy for him to come on as a sub but he's not quite ready to play a full game at first team level IMO.

i think now all of us would like killkenny to make the bench,it would send out the right message to the fans and hopefully the younger players at the club.
