The only way Forssell can get his sharpness back is by getting more and more games under his belt, give him time and he will come good.

Time & no goals is lost games.

Full games for injured players should be played in the reserve team.

Why?? Because i do not think Pandiani brings anything to the team.

Bruce spent 3 months chasing him. in that time Curbishley went out and bought Darren Bent for the same price. it remains to be seen who got the better deal.

Not read all posts but...

Judging by today's performance Forssell hasn't lost any of his skill or eye for a chance.

It is, however, clear that he is still lacking that all important half a yard of pace. It will come.

Today, Forssell was left on his own up front for most of the game because Pandiani took it upon himself to go for a wander.

Heskey and FOrssell will link up 10x better thany anyone can with Pandiani because he isn't a team player.

Charlton put in a text book performance today- grab a goal, shut up shop and hit them on the break on the off chance we'll need to score 2.

Heskey might have made all the difference but it is now painfully obvious we need another striker. We should not have let Morrison go at all. He links upwith Heskey and Forssell far better than Pandiani ever will.

Pandiani will at least score a goal over 5 games.

a goal every 5 games, where.forsell just needs to get of the mark ,he has lost none of his touch just that yard of pace which comes with matches.

He has and still is scoring goals.Wherever he has played he has score plenty including here and imo he will score more than enough this season.

Forssell is a great player but is not particularly quick and is wasted chasing high balls. He needs a target man to hold the ball up or flick it on. After that he will bury them.

He is only just beginning to get match fit after his long injury lay-off. Give him time and he will be banging them in. KRO

not true - he doesn't play alongside a big man for finland and still scored 3...
also, listening to the experts this site is fortunate to have, forssell's best run was whem o'morrison played with him, and he's no target man is he?? ;)

Would have liked to see Forsell and Keane playing up front together.
