I have already said on a few other posts that its still too early to be asking for the manager to be sacked, but just a thought???? We always go on about that certain players are at no best Championship level...... Perhaps we can all identify that our squad is more premier league now that what it was a season or so ago...... I mean on paper we should have run the likes of Charlton and Man City closer, and dug in at best against middlesborough, we can accept poor form, but surely quality always shines through in the end. So far this season IMO we have looked totally lacking sharpness, our concentration at the back has been poor and we blow hot and cold throughout every ninety minutes we have played. Is our problem that we have a championship manager and backroom staff? I mean its not a case that SB is no good, or not good enough, perhaps he is out of his depth at the top....... I see lots of fellow Bluenoses talking about tactics, and to a degree a manager has to be tactically aware, altho i still feel there is more to winning matches than tactics alone, no-one has mentioned the lack of movement off the ball both in midfield but more importantly up front. Any opinions anyone? |

i think that SB is of prem quality but is to one dimentional as a manager. he can build a good defencive team but is lacking in the progresion front. he would keep most teams in the prem but cant move them on. |

It’s not time to change the Management, But it time to teach these supposedly international midfielders how to pass a ball in between a defense. Not once today did they tread a ball through for a striker to run onto. The front men have got too much to do by beating the defense and getting a shot in. every ball was played to feet with there back to goal. Until we can get that killer ball through we are never going to beat these teams. I personally don’t think there is much wrong with the team it just needs a bit of fine tuning and we will be on a roll. :D |

i agree....what can sb do about pro's who misplace simple passes, other than drop them next game or drag them off? which he did, today, and we played some great stuff 2nd half.....stop having a go at sb, he's doing ok and if we ever get our best side fit and ready we'll do very well, imo |

I hate to say this but i just dont see Bruce ever leading us into europe anymore. I dont think we will get relegated as we have too many good players and there are worst teams in the leauge however i just dont feel Bruce has sufficient tactical knowledge to get us into europe. |

Except that Charlton are second in the Premiership, Man City third and Boro beat Arsenal and are above them as of tonight. We are improving as Our players recover from lay-offs and we gave Charlton a real run for thweir monay today.KRO! |
