I think we have nothing to lose by playing the following team for the next 2 games:

------------------------------------Taylor----------------------

Johnson-------------Taylor--------------Upson----------Sadler

--------------------------------Butt--------------------------------

Pennant------------------------Kilkenny-----------------Gray or Stan-----

---------------------------------------------Jarosik----------------------

-----------------------------Heskey or Forssell depending on who is fit

Subs:

Asa Hall
Doyle
Pandiani
Tebily or Melichiot
Clements

We are not going to fire the manager so the only thing left is to change the team

Smaks of desperation a bit in my opinion.

We have the players to be performaing a hell of a lot better than we are, we need to get to the root cause of whats going so badly wrong at the moment.

Thought the exact same thing (again).

Bruce tried desperation changes at Boro, didn't work.

I'd keep everything the same, and try Johnson or Sadler at left back (it's got to be better than Clapham).

Bruce needs to start by dropping Maik Taylor.

At fault AGAIN today for the goal.

See my topic.

For Nico Vaesen?

Bad defending make keepers look bad. Taylor is a world class keeper in form, he's in form.

lmao!

IN FORM!

My God, I'd hate to see him OUT of form.

He is glued to his line, poor kicking, doesn't command his box.

He was to blame for 2 goals V M'boro, both Baggies goal and the goal today.

U tell me what Nico did wrong when he last played?

If he hadn't have got injured he'd still be in goal now.

the team were fine in second half, so no need to panic, clapham was dodgy, we need new left back asap,

with heskey next match things will be ok, gray was good, as were jarosik and butt... if they had not played well i would agree, but performance was good

Hey look at the facts, we have changed the players loads of times, we have changed the manager many times, we have even had different owners and management team. The one thing that Blues fans find so hard to change, that they find so difficult to criticise, is themselves. The fans were pathetic yesterday. They are too stupid to understand what is needed to help a team to be successful. Unless the thinking changes to something far more progressive and intellingent, I guarantee Blues will always be the bridesmaids, never the bride.

What good will dropping a decent goal keeper who saves shots from the likes of lamapard, when the defence is sorting if things dont say i will take my words back.

He may save shots but he doesn't command his area.

He doesn't come for crosses and make any attempt to challenge, catch or punch.

All our conceeded goals this season have come from either crosses Taylor hasn't made a challenge for or set peices he hasn't challenged for.

He is not the complete article people say he is.

Coaching Goalkeepers, I can see this so why can't anyone else?

I guess you don't go to the reserves. Vaesen is a Championship keeper at best. Doyle would be a better shout as back up. Taylor has no pressure on him as he IS the only option, I'm afraid.

Fine then,

perhaps we need to get Doyle back from Forest and stick him in the sticks.

ANYONE can command the area better than Talylor ffs.

Even i'd do a better job cos I know how to come off my line!!

I have seen your previous posts and you are an absolute joke how can you blame Taylor for the goal it was a inswinging cross that Clapham did not deal with how you expect Taylor to come and claim it is beyond me

How do I expect him to come and claim it?

Well, what a goalkeeper is allowed to do is MOVE off his line. You may have noticed that Keepers are allowed to wear gloves. This is because they can use their hands.

Adding all these things up:

Taylor should have come off his line, challenged Bent and either punched the ball or caught it. If he couldn't have got to the ball then the fact that he made a challenge may have put off Bent.

I really do dispair at most people on here.

Do you really? Cause i despair at you? Every topic you have posted on here that i have read today; you have slagged off Maik Taylor. Get real  Its the defence thats needs sorting not him!

omg.......

Perhaps it is because I have had Keeper training from the age of about 6 that I can see all his bad points and no one else can.....

I agree feel_the_forss. If we had Cudicini, cech e.c.t in goal it wont matter because the defence need to work with them, thank god im not a keeper.
