the last thing I am doing is having a go, but in the pub after the match we were trying to remember the last time we lost the first 3 home games. Can anyone help & what was the outcome of the season? Money is riding on the answers for some people - not me I learnt many years ago not to bet on Blues :ph43r: |

Teams that lose three home games on the trot invariably get relegated |

We haven't lost 3 on the trot. 3 at home but not 3 in a row. We beat Albion last time out. What will people be saying if we don't lose again now for another 15 games? |

Lost 3 at home but still remain undefeated away from home. Gotta look on the bright side of things. |

And looking ahead, when do folks think we will get our first home win? Liverpool, Vile and Everton being the next three at St Andrew's. I'd hope the team would lift their game for two of those matches, but on showing so far I am not confident of us winning any of them. |

The three home games have been like groundhog day for me,fast mobile teams with a shape, pattern of play and totally uncompromising defending. We on the other hand are ragged, shapeless and static, apart from the 45minutes at albion. We took 7 points from those same 3 games last seaon (i think),but we are 1 point ahead based on our 2 away games,so by my reckoning we need to find 6 points from the teams we failed against last year already. |

the start of this season is same as last season, played 5 and got 4 points. lets take some positives here; 1 )The man city game was close, we could have drawn that if pennant had made better contact with a golden opportunity 2 )The charlton game could have been a win or a draw, we should have had penalty and the second half performane was best for ages, we deserved a goal or two! 3 )Yes the middlesbourgh game was dreadful, but i guess he was changing the side to show the senior players a lesson, back fired! 4) we are undefeated away from home 5 ) no worse than last yr, the team performed well on saturday during second half, and looked better side, so if they carry that to portsmouth I am sure they can get a win, and we all know that blues up their game for a liverpool match, so who knows. the line between us and being in top 4 at moment is 4 goals, two we could have had against charlton and two against man city, that would have given us 10 pts. So lets not get wound up... i feel comfortable about the team. |

According to the Evening Mail, it's been 94 years since we lost our first three games at home... |

statistics can prove anything, and in this case it proves nothing. I still believe the second half performance was promising, julian gray injected pace on the left, but the crosses were not being met well enough, we missed heskeys height |

Most games in this league are winnable and loseable, everyones capable of beating each other at home or away. I havent been surprised that we have lost particular games and won and drew at wba and fulham. It was just the performances that worried me. |

Every team has beaten us by being fast, decisive and with shape.Try looking at how teams pass their way round us with so much ease because we are static.Thats what concerns me,its there for all to see. |
