lets all dig in and support our team in these desperate times, we have been awfull in every home game this season. i think we should all take a look at what division we are playing in before we all start yelling to sack the manager and board etc etc. all "real" blues fans, blues fans that have followed them in the lower divisions and have had to suffer losing to leyton orient, southend, bury.........etc etc . its time to baton down the hatches and take cover from the crap thats coming our way from the "premier league" blues supporters. it summed it up for me today when i heard a so called blues fan say "if we go down i aint coming next year".........................how very very sad. if blues were playing in moor greens league i would be their, i just find it sad when i hear comments like that :( im keeping right on to the end of the road ;) oh yeah i nearly forgot ....sotv!

I know what your saying woody but im sorry, the fans always have and always will support this club, i think its about time you asked this of the players and management of this club to do something about it, not the fecking fans everytime the team are shite, its not the fans that make the team performance's crap its the players and management :o

Every week now i read in the Evening Mail and Birmingham post from some Blues player saying we know we have to this we know we have to do that, time to stop talking and time to start doing words are cheap <_<

KRO and all that

Desperate times?

Don't make me laugh.

The majority of today's 'fans' don't know what desperate times are.

Deperate times are not winning for 3 months.

Desperate times are when the owners use their own company to manufacture the team kit then don't actually pay for it pocketing the money themselves.

Deperate times are when you're standing at Peterborough watching the Blues lose 1-3.

Desperate times are being loyal, wearing your colours and going to every game when you know it's going to end in defeat.

2005?

Far from being desperate. We've got the best squad of players ever, the best manager, the best board and are moving forwards. Moving away from those truly desperate times.

So things aren't going exactly to plan yet. Don't worry. Things are far from deperate. A little bit of patience and real support is what is needed.

Batten down the hatches to fend off all of the pathetic, unrealistic expectations and the whinging that's flying around at the moment.

That is absolute tosh.

Alot of us are from that era. You don't have the monopoly on past times.

Salad Dodger is 100% spot on in the fact that the players are going to have to start taking responsibility.

I was there in the dark days & I tell you now I am more disillusioned in the Premiership then div 1 & 2, that upsests me to type it as I have never questioned my loyalty to the Blues.

KRO.

I have never claimed to have any sort of monopoly on anything Anna.

I am merely saying that although things are not going to plan and many are not happy, I am not happy that we're not winning btw, we have not fallen upon desperate times.

It'll be approaching desperate when we're still only 16th come December. Charlton and Boro are proving to be very good teams this season. Man City are up there too.

So we're not proving to be as good as we would all have hoped. It's not reason to sack the manager.

december? don't you think K-bek that the problems need addressing now rather than december?, i think they do, after all these problems have been with us since last season, its not just this season, your right in that there is no need to panic as that won't help anyone but it needs sorting and now not 16-20 games into the season ;)

That's what I mean though.

The time to panic is when we're 16th in December and we've tried everything to put the situation right but it hasn't worked.

I am not happy with this season so far. But, we don't know what the future holds.

Today we showed some very good stuff in the 2nd half. When it all comes together we will be more than a match for anyone and will probabaly go on a decent run.

Every team ahs a poor rin during a season. Maybe we're having our now and will come good. I'd rather start slow then build it up as the season goes on than start like an express train and fall away. At least this way we have something to look forward to! lol

I hope your right K-bek but i don't share your confidence this season, like i said this has been going on since last season and that worries me :(

The commitment, effort and potential were all there today.

We might not perform that well in the next game but score 2. Thats' the beauty of the game.

i only meant "desperate" because we have just lost 3 home games on the bounce. i think we should all get behind the team and managment instead of sitting their moaning why we havent spent 15 million. i just think a lot of blues fans have got short memories. what actually gives us the right to be a top 6 team after 3 seasons in the prem? <_<

Woody, I actually agree with you and your sentiment. I just thought 'desperate times' was a bit mcuh that's all.

I dread to think what will happen if we really do find ourselves in trouble. Most of our 'fans' will stop bothering to turn up, the rest will whinge and whine none stop. Well, even more than now!!! LOL I noticed a bit of booing today at ahlf time too.

We do need to pull together, appreciate what we've already achieved and push forward together.

United we stand.

Divided we fall.

im 100% behind this team as i am with any team blues put out ,
but can you honestly say all our players are giving 100% just now,are they giving 100% for 90 minutes ,are they sweating blood for this club, are they winning the first ball and more importantly are they winning the second ball, are they all doing their job on that pitch, dont give me the injuries excuse ,if players are not fit enough get them in the reserves to get match fit where mistakes dont matter as much, and dont forget we are not talking about just this season.

Like many i have and will support the blues through the good times and the bad times and i don't want to be pulled in about sacking sb and saying the board are a waste of time. For me i seethe positive and negatives of the last few games and am a firm believer that we will start stringing a few games. Once stated on a decent run then we will be up there ;)

you are correct but most of the 'real' blues cant go anymore so we are left with the fans you mention.

unfortunatly they are the future of fans who have only started comeing because weare in the prem.

but blind devotion will not do this club any good and i think that doing the moaning on here and in the pub after the game is justified, we should'nt boo at games untill the final whistle to tell the team it's not good enough.

i personaly would rather be in the football league (puts on tin hat) because it does'nt mater to me what division we are in as i go to see BCFC not arsenal chelski
or manure.

Ive just found this exceptionally well written piece on keeprighton.co.uk and thought it says it all, so for those who hadnt seen it:

JOIN THE REVOLTUION!

Comrades,

I have a dream, a vision of the future, and you are all there. Standing proud, shoulder to shoulder as members of the Bluenose Liberation Front.

After the disappointment of the Middlesborough home game, a few good men and women set about instigating a change. They united with one voice to say “We will not go quietly into the night, we will not disappear without a fight, the Blues will live on, our support will grow strong, and together we will roar them to victory.”

For too long goals conceded at St Andrews have been met with dismay, by the haunting sound of seats flapping, of groans and of people deserting. But no more, we the freedom fighters of the BLF swear allegiance to those souls sent out in royal blue. We will not boo them, we will not leave them.

We will save our criticism for the correct times and the correct channels. For ninety minutes we will sing, shout, scream, dance and roar. We will make the difference. We will once again be the 12th man.

Together no lead is insurmountable, no game out of reach. The time has come to unite behind the common cause, no matter what our differences are, we all share the passion, the desire to see our team succeed.

And even if they don’t, we will not disappear. We will be here no matter what. We will be behind the team until our last breath.

The Revolution is here, join us, become a comrade of the Bluenose Liberation Front, and together we will bring the noise.

Che Optimiste
