Bruce said on the Radio he had picked up a slight knock to his knee. |

Personally i thought his replacement was justified on his first half performance-very under par- if this was down to injury or fitness then fair enough but taking him off was definatly the best thing to do. |

totally agree - yes we had a better second half - no co-incidence that this was to do with Mario going off. The midfield looked more balanced and the defence looked more solid with dj at right back and gray on the left |

Jonty behind pennant made for an excellent partnership. I'd bring clem back into centre mid though somethings not right there at the moment. |

glad he went off, he spent most of the first half chasing shadows and arguing with kk |

On this season's form mario does not deserve top be in the side. Johnson was a big improvement in the second half. |

Mario has been dropped from the Holland squad due to his poor form for us . He needs to be dropped and made to fight for his place. He has been the worst player by far this season (imo) and has become a liability. He seems a pretty genuine guy when he does his interviews with he local media, so maybe its time he realised he doesn't have an automatic place in the team. This is what annoys me most about SB, he needs to show more bottle and not be afraid to drop players. Answer this, if we had Allardyce, Curbishly, Moyes, Maclaren even Pearce in charge, do you think thay would still be picking Melchiot, Clapham and Izzet ahead of our backup players who are desperate for a chance? Its time for Kilkenny, Sadler, Martin Taylor etc to be given a chance - maybe the Scunthorpe game will be a good opportunity. |
