I stood before the start of the game yesterday, singing along to the music, clapping the team out. As i did this i took a look around the stadium........

Half empty stands filled with half hearted fans!!

Not the majority of u lot on here but a fair few of so called "bluenoses",

What happened to the passion, what happened to the singing, laughing..

I understand we lost but we were 1-0 down with 75 mins left!!! Where was the 12th man ffs!!

Ive been going since i was 4, ive hardly missed a game, and ive never found myself questioning my fellow blues family members until yesterday!!

It made me feel sick............thats how much blues mean to me, i hurt more than most when we lose but i still cheer and clap them off when we lose because there our team and i love them!

Sorry ive rambled...tin hat on and left for good!! :ph43r:

KRO 4 EVER

It's been said before but there's little or no atmosphere this year. When we came up and even after, we (the fans) were the 12th man. What's happened? I believe that there's been a change from hardened Bluenoses to "Fairweather" supporters in SOME areas.
What else can explain the funereal atmosphere? And don't come back with "Oh Brucie's lost the plot".

In my opinion.......................certain parts of the ground ie Tilton should only be allocated to people who are going to sing - mutes would obviously be exempt.

I agree laco of passion, the tilton is usually no stop singing, where our banter gone, when is my block (block 3) going to sing "Block 5 are u still alive..." i only noticed 1 full k.r.o yesterday and a second one that gave over after, we will jounrey on lalala, No SOTV sung at all yesterday, which i think is a first! Come on lads, this is only a blip we will get better and if we show belief the players will show belief! Another thing, I signed up for the ATC for this season, thinking yes i wont have to worry about getting tickets, well i wish i never our first allocation has gone to season ticket every time, we got 1300 on first allocation at pompey and my mate who has fulham and baggies stamps went and got 1 on season day with 2 stamps! Another reason why i wish i never signed up to platinum A.T.C is that it looks like my tickets have been lost in the post, just want a fans point of view, do you think they will give me replacements perhaps if the mods would know??

You've summed this up perfectly.

It seems as if people are having in for the team and the manager, and I think some of this boils down to the fact that no-one was signed up on deadline day.

You stick with the team through thick and thin, and that what true fans do. We played quite well yesterday, and I'm glad to find that there are some fans that are not slagging off Bruce and the team.

Well if it helps, I was there with my lad, and we live 200 miles away.

And that is a long way to drive home wearing wet trousers and pants, believe me.

Do we count as dedicated enough? :P

For the record I thought we played garbage first half. Second was a different story, but we missed Heskey in the air on the crosses.

As one bloke said on BRMB phone in after, he could never be a rugby player, slightest knock and he is out for weeks with injury.

Let's hope he recovers from this one quickly, he is doing his England chances no good, bad luck and all I know, but still...

i had a row with a youth in block 12, he was booing as loud as he could at half time
and i told him to shut up and get behind the team. he told me to f**k off, so i had to threaten him with physical violence....the worst part, though, was that people looked at me as though booing is perfectly natural and acceptable towards the team you support!!! bizarre, and i'll be changing seats next season 'cos its like being in gods waiting room this season....

I have never booed the Blues, be it at half time or full time. I have levelled criticism at the team/squad/management as is my right as a paying fan (and boy do I pay, yesterday cost me about £120 in total, shame my petrol money can't go to BCFC really!). Anyone who boos at a game should be barred for at least the next match IMHO, and treated as an opposing fan for the rest of the game they are booing at - which Proccy appears to be covering by the sound of it heheheh!

Shall we start a petition on this?

The last 2 seasons we have had big increases in season ticket prices. This season the sale of ST were a lot lower, the club are over now charging above what supporters can afford. Supporters do not have a bottomless pockets.

Yesterday the club gave kids for a fiver and we still could not fill the ground, just over 26,000. Reason the way the team had played in the first 2 home games and the strange decisions of the manager left supporters deflated. If that is not the answer what is?

Attendances are down all over the country. Bolton vs Blackburn gamee today (a local derby) loads of empty seats and Bolton are in Europe!

Chelsea have ahd to advertise in the local press too as they don't sell out. Also this club's ticket prices don't help. I am on a decent wage yet cabn only make it to a select few games for me and the kid. I wanted to go to the Vile game but at those ticket prices you can forget it. And forget me affording a season ticket, I have had a ST in the past but these prices are taking the p***.

If the club lower prices attendances will rise. Until then, I can only make it to a select few games and the ones I go to the performanes are abject and I have been going for 15 years.

I live in Northampton and it cost me 150 quid round trip.

Its a joke. A better attendance would help the team perform. Its disheartening to play in front of ahalf empty stadium. And they want a new super stadium when they can't fill this one!

like it or not if your team plays well you shout and cheer. if they don't you don't. We all like to kid ourselves that Bluenoses cheer on the team come what may but the truth is not the fiction. Every team that gets promoted has the best fans cos they have just had a promotion winning season so they have been shouting for a while. If, and I meen If, we were to drop down a division when we it started to dawn on us that it's going to happen a gallows humour will kick in and up will pop our great support again (anybody remember Leeds). if we win a few games on the trot this season everybody will start going on about the old atmos comming back, you mark my words.

When we are in he lower divisions we shout cos the pressure's off but the Prem is full of pressure cos the drop is so great. Nothing has happend to the atmos it's just that the situation is different.

IMO the fans are there to encourage the team. To get behind them and to put as much effort in as physically possible to help make a difference while we all pull together to gain 3 points.

Sadly, this is not the opinion of many thousands of 'fans' who go to St Andrews.

Many 'fans' think it is the players' job to entertain the crowd and perform tricks, score goals and generally batter everyone they come up against before they will even contemplate thinking about singing.

I sat in the Kop, at the very far end nearest the Railway on the last seat in the last but 1 row. (Don't ask!! lol)

I heard half a rendition of KRO from the lower tier and a half hearted attempt ar SOTV which petered out almost as soon as it started. Then, for some reason I will never know I heard a loud chorus of "we'll be dreaming of... we'll be there" and nothing else. Nothing. Not a word. That's all I heard from a group of people who looked like they'd been singing for a week.

PATHETIC.

The reason the atmosphere is she ite is not because the tickets cost loads, not because there were a lot of kids, not because of the weather nor because of the time of year. It is plain and simply because people can not be bothered.

The people around me hardly moved all game until the last 10 minutes when they started shouting "f**king she ite Blues." "useless" "sort it out FFS."

At 1 point the bloke next to me screamed "SHOOOOOOT" to a player surrounded by 3 defenders. When he did shoot and it hit the defender he moaned that it was she ite. Typical.

The sooner people realise we will not be entertained by brilliant Brazillian-esque football every week the better.
