**** knows why Robson keeps him on the bench, they need someone who can score a goal.

Shame he's playing for a clown, he's got potential.

Is this going to happen everytime an ex-player of ours scores? stern john scored twice for T+T, why dont we sign him back?

Carter was sold because he wasnt good enough for our first team and needed first team experience to further his career and to avoid rotting in the reserves.

With Dunn coming back, some cracking players on loan and with Izzet 100% Carter wouldnt get a look in.

Id much rather focus on our current problems of getting Forssell 100% and Pandiani integrated into the team rather than avoiding the issue and simply saying we should never have sold some ex players.

Carter has spent as much time on Albion's bench as he did on ours.

A brilliant goal yesterday. We all know he's got it in him but with the signings of Butt and Nafti he was always going to struggle to get into the 1st team.

I was beginning to wonder if Carter had jumped from the frying pan into the fire by going from our bench to theirs.

What I cant' work out is all the booing that surrounded Woolwark's introduction. The fans actually booed the player during the game. He's playing out of position but must be doing a good job as he's played in a team that beat Arsenal.

Oh how refreshing to hear some honest truth!

I was one person who'd rather have loaned Carter than sold him. However I don't begrudge him a life outside BCFC and am pleased for the lad.

And Clinton is back scoring where he scores best; in the championship.

Well done Dazza. Good to see you are getting a few games at WBA now.

I dont begrudge him playing well now he has left, if anything i wish him success as he just needed an extended run in a team to settle.

Yup, certainly dont begrudge him a life outside the Blues, infact I always try and look out for the Baggies results to see how he does as I sincerely wish him all the best.

Saying that I dont begrudge the club for selling him either, even though I was also of the view that I would rather have loaned him out again.

Are we going to start a thread every time one of our ex-players scores a goal?

In that case, Dwight Yorke has bagged a few in Aus.

Get over it, its done. What is important is getting our forwards firing, esp the Forse.

Well done to Darren for a quality goal, I hope he has a very good career.

I'd have liked us to keep him but I don't think he'd get near our midfield now we have Butt, Jarosik, Dunn and DJ in such fine form
