Can't lose....ESSIEN makes one of the most dangerous tackles ever seen and gets a yellow..Bolton handle and ESSIEN shows the card up to the ref....Red card to Bolton follows. CHEATS. Why isn't ESSIEN done for this? |

Essien is looking at a 3 match ban for this tackle. The FA are investigating. It was was very very bad tackle to be fair. |

er it's the conspiracy. refs are given instructions plain and simple. but chelsea are a cut above and they dont need help from the refs. |

To be fair to them, they were 1-0 down at half time, at home, and being outplayed Their manager changes things tactically to combat Boltons gameplan and gets them fired up enough to score 5 I watched another team in the same situation at half time yesterday - I wonder if Mourinho could have done anything to them |

it won't last, look at arsenal, 2 seasons ago - unbeaten in 49 games? now look ordinary, chelsea are beatable, and I PREDICT they will lose 2 before end of season and draw 2. (hence drop 10 points), so season is over, they win |

the worst thing was the ref spent ages talking to essien, explaining why he had to book him kept smiling and tapping him on the back!! did he show the same respect to the bolton lad?? nope just showed red and said get off!! disgusting |

Italian fans have complained about this for years, top clubs getting the ref on their side. Same here I think! Chelsae should be docked 3 points in my opinion and so should any team that go on to win after one of their players, on reflection, is sent of after viewing the video tape. It was obvious that the non sending off had a direct influence on the out come! |

What if said video panel looked at yesterdays game (as an example) and decreed that Jonty's tackle that saw him booked should have been a red and docked us 3 points? Would you still be so keen on that system? We would be in negative points by now ;) |

yup i agree, if they watch the video and it points to sending off then they have to act apropriatly. no good to bolton is it they still lose and chelsea still win, that action could of changed the game. |

also i think that the ref should be questioned about why he did'nt give the right dision. refs should be given the rules and told these are the rules enforce them anyone not complying with this will be repremanded. common sence is not so common. |

No only if the it could have had a direct influence on the game, If DJ had of been sent off inretrospect it wouldnt have affected the out come, we wold have still lost! |
