A pretty good crowd to see Moors try to regain top spot. Pretty good game in th e first half, Moors going ahead from a penalty. But then disaster Stalybridge went 3-1 up. Oh how I regret doing what I did then, partly because it looked all over and partly because I needed to be somewhere I left teh game 3 minutes from time. Final score 3-3. lol That'll teach me. The unbeaten run is extended again. Well done you Moors.

Real football this afternoon. Going to Moors v Hednesford, top of the table clash, although Moors have had a torrid time lately and are almost out of the promo spot.

Great game in atrocious conditions. Moors looked to be really comfortable at 2-0 after getting to that poiont deservedly, then they were too rattled by a Hednesford goal, and allowed themselves to be hustled to 3-2 loss. Both set of players deserve a big well done though for providing such a honestly, fairly well fought game that was very entertaining.

It started as I drove up listening to Tony Blackburn, who had just played Flash by Queen. A guy from Coseley called into the show to say how appropriate that was as it was thundering & lightening where he was. Just as I got into the ground flashes of lightening and torrential hail poured down, the start was almost delayed, but wasn't. Interesting afternoon :-)
