Souness reveals Dyer depression I think its good that football players do show emotion sometimes and have genuine desire to play the game and not just happy to pick up pay cheques whilst on the sidelines. But, i think that Souness has maybe gone the wrong way about trying to prove Dyers worth more to the fans. I mean, if you were a pround young man like Dyer, would you really feel satisfied with that story in the news. |

I hope Souness had kierons permission before coming out with this story. I seem to remember Dunny feeling really low and wanting to quit football when he was sidelined for so long. |

one things for sure, if i was Dyer i would be furious for something so personal to be put in the news for everyone to read. But maybe this was good publicity for him though, afterall, some newcastle fans still have douts about his comitment and desire towards the club after past incidents. |

Well, i know what its like feeling depressed. not like him most prob as we live different lifes. and have different problems. i would hate for it to be broadcasted, i wont want people, (how many of us watch sky sports), to know about my personal life!! but then again its life and if you dont like your problems being broadcasted then dont become famous!! |

depression is a very funny illness it's one of those things that no matter how your life is can strike and can be devistating for the whole family. but if he did give permission for this to be told i would be very surprised as it is not the sort of illness that can be cured and as we saw with collymore and gregory it can have a detrimental affect if you have never been through it. |
