Great to see all four go thru' :D

Slightly unfair on bahrain having to play 2 nations.

Great to see stern john, dwight yorke, Stan and Jarosik get tickets for Germany 2006.

Well done to all those nations, however I would have liked Norway instead of the Czechs in, still at least Jiri will be at the World Cup.

Australia deserve it more than any other nation. After years of trying due to an unfair qualifying system, they are actually there :)

It may be worth putting a bit of cash on the Aussies to win the world cup ;)

I don't buy into all that crap about Australia being unlucky. They haven't been good enough. To qualify, all they've needed to do is win a two-legged playoff because they're automatically going to top the Oceanic group every four years. This year, they were good enough, in previous years... they haven't been.

Sorry but all other countries who are there have had to do a lot more than Australia.

The bigger issue here has been the political issue.
FIFA agreed each Federation should be represented in the World Cup, at least by one nation. that seemed fair - and remember NZ beat Australia so qualified before.

However, Mr Blatter the *^%$#* decided that he needed the South American votes to get elected, so he lied and did the dirty on the Oceanic Confederation and ripped the spot away fromthem.

Being honest and objective, there is no way the South Americans should be entitled to 4.5 spots, and I suggest the same applies to Africa.

What happens is Europe and Oceanic Federations get ripped off to politically satisfy Mr Blatter and co. Sadly Equity and honesty don't appeal too greatly to Mr Blatter.
