it is very annoying to think that i have paied 437 quid, there begging people to go but by reducing the ticket prices are they really thinking about st holders, do they think that because we have spent loads on a st ticket we will go and watch them what ever because we have paied an unearthly ammount of money. As well as reducing the ticket prices why not do something for the st ticket holder to try and encourage them to not only go but to renew, you know there is no incentive for me to go, i could go out with my mates and do some xmas shopping, but people that dont go have the incentive of cheap tickets

Fair point, but don't forget while you are paying roughly £23 per game, I have just spent £45 for a ticket for the Man U match. I think it probably evens itself out over the season.

Dear Blues Supporters,

This is an urgent plea to every true Blues fan! Please turn up and support our team this Saturday!

We understand that some of you are fed up and feel like not coming to support the team, but it's at times like this that we need your support the most.

St. Andrew's has been like a morgue recently, no atmosphere, but we don't blame you. We understand your frustration and disappointment with the recent performances of the team. We feel the same, but we'll be there on Saturday making as much noise as we can - and we need you there as well!

We know you feel let down by recent results - we feel the same - but we just cannot give up! We need you there to make some noise and fill the stadium with pressure and sound. Saturday is now a must-win game for the club and we are asking you to turn up with your family and friends and to help.
We have reduced the prices to just £15 (adults) and £5 (kid), your support and help will turn the season around.

As a Board we have never been so desperate for you to turn up and get behind the team, we know your presence, sound and support can and will make the difference.

Saturday is our most important game for years, it's like the cup final and we need your help to win it - please, please turn up and get behind the team.

£522(which is what I paid) divided by 19 games = £27.50approx per game

Something doesn't add up here (or divide up)

Then I paid 10 to watch us just about beat Norwich
I will pay 20 to watch us play Man U

Will be interesting to see the ploy they use to sell STs for next season. If we are on course for relegation at the time will they offer reduced prices if you buy early ? If we are safe at the time we will probably be looking at another 4% increase as it was last year on the promise that the strongest squad we have had in years will deliver exciting football and a place amongst Europe's elite.

This message is all about money. They want it to kick start the season (again) so that the success they hope it will spark off will mean more STs sold for the remainder of the season and for the next one.

Don't let "please, please" get to you - get down there anyway cos you love the Blues

I dont think Its about money its about supporting the team they dont want st andys to be empty as that will effect the team !

a season ticket will always work out cheaper in the end despite the reduced tickets for some matches

Yes we have all done it, paid up front for the same seat,

I paid £1000 for 1 adult, 2 kids seats.

Now i see that occasional fans can attend all the matches at knock down prices nearly every match.

ok thats cool, we fill ground and get atmosphere etc

so what do we get as loyalty for this ticket?

10% of shop purchases! sounds good?

All year? NO, just for 3 hours on weekday evening

Off everything? NO, just stuff you don't normally want, NOT replica kit, not training kits/gear, not off anything already reduced

so what is the benefit of being a season ticket holder? anyone?

Any chance you can back that up with figures Mark ?
All I know is what I paid for my ST and what that works out per match IF I get to them all (missed one due to being ill). How many £45 matches per season - Man U , Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa maybe. So that saves me 17.50 for each of those games and what is it for the normal games - more and more are being reduced like the Fulham game - £28 tops?

Most of the empty seats the other night were probably seats belonging to season ticket holders - how you going to attract those back ? Appeal to their consciences ? What incentive gets them to turn up when the side are performing so poorly? It certainly doesn't help when they read that non ST holders can get in for £15 and kids for a £5er.
Let's face it they can't resell those seats cos they don't know which ST holders are going to turn up for any particular game - will they require to know this next? Please, please ring in if you are not going to attend the next match and we can sell your seat on for a much reduced price - is that the next move ?

When promoting the STs they are very quick to extol the virtues of the club and promise us that the side is the best we have ever had, that we are going for a European place on the back of the signings made. All this long before they actually perform in pre-season games (writing on the wall this season after those eh).

Yes we do have the most efficiently run administration probably in the Premiership but ST holders are the lifeblood of any club and you need to do more than just take their money and gain interest from it. Another question - in my part of the ground the OG we do not have our names on our seats - why ? They do in the Kop stand. That seat is MINE for the season, I bought it. Why can't we have our names on them ? Petty I know but just another example of the way ST holders are treated

You're correct - They do have names on seats - at least in Club (Block 27), anyway.

But they're ALL out-of-date. The name on my seat is not me (I moved seats from "standard" Kop Block 25 in promotion season - old seat did not have name on it).

yes even when u pay "silly" money for directors seating area u get treated like "s h i t", have seen it myself.... they are serious MUGS, pay daft money, and get even worse treatment, i know 2 different gold suite members, between them paying £15k per annum, who are not happy, one guy, who has two seats, takes his dad every game, was told by his dad not to bother next yr, they have been moved around the block all season, whilst their seats they had for over 6 yrs were sold by a new kid in commercial to new corp people, and their names are still on seats, but they still turn up, buy the drinks at bar, moan, and get ripped off again!

Wake up blues, it is at every level that customer care is going wrong...

from handling of kids, right up to well off people being fleeced again and again, every one has their limit!

(this is my opnion by the way so dont shoot me down)

All this talk of getting ripped of with buying a season ticket ! I feel its a privalige owning a season ticket, I knew the cost worked out that it was about £19 per game and was happy to pay it to watched my beloved blues ! so I aint bothered about games selling for lower than what I pay for £19 per game as I'm guarrenteed a ticket for all the games and save money on games that cost more than £19 per game, so I'm happy I cant belive in the times of crisis with people not wanting to come, the board decided to reduce the price to get a sell out not for the money just to get the atmoshpere back to try and help the team, people soon would be moaning if there were only say 20000 fans in the stadium people soon would be saying to get the people and the atmosphere back the board need to do something, they have and what do people do? want a refund on their ST for the difference, not happy with the low cost! its stupid the sale of tickets is used to fund further players etc so why are people making such a big deal about it. We need support a full house of support to help the lads. It seems in the times of trouble people are turning their back on a club that needs fans support more than ever !

STUPID !

I'll always fight and support BCFC till the day I die !

Get the kids in. Half of them don't realise our current situation and therefore won't be soooooo doom and gloom.
