Interesting game last night. Disappointed that Martinez' team were so badly beaten. I like Martinez. Mind Liverpool were on fire and that first goal was stunning.

It could have been 5-0 .....Sturridge blasted a spot kick into the Kop

Everton must be gutted.....they didn't play that badly on the night, had a couple of decent chances themselves but they played Jagielka, Barkley and Pinnear who many reckon were not 100 per cent fit and they lost Lukaku early on through what looks like a worrying bad ankle injury

The basic difference was Suarez and Sturridge

I think Liverpool have enough quality to finish top 4.....still think the title has Manchester City's name on it though

Everton could also be a dark horse for the FA Cup.....top 6 finish for them

Entertaining game but it was basically over at HT

I thought the third goal was the best (Sturridge's second)

Sturridge beating the offside trap and nicely lobbing Howard who had to come out and commit

Suarez's goal was awesome as well .......nicked the ball off Jagielka just inside his own half and ran all the way to the box and finished in style....with Jagielka almost panting his socks off to catch him.....don't think he was match fit TBH.....but then again, Suarez has a lot more pace than people think

He can be an annoying little chump (there's probably a few of the Holy Brigade on here that still reckon he's a racist) .....but he's one of the best players in the world at this moment in time

Is he worth 250K a week ? .....I don't think anyone is but these elite clubs will pay it .....I just heard now that Wayne Rooney wants 300K a week :LMAO:

Hopefully, Liverpool will now be lured into a false sense of security. I really do not want to see them get Champions League football next season. It's a bit too much to hope that they'll miss out on Europe altogether. Of course, one of the reasons that they're doing much better in the league this season than last is the fact that they had no European football this time...

Sturridge being so good after coming back from injury is great for England!
