What was the atmosphere like with the millwall fans? Did any of the fans try to get to the blues? Was there any fights after the game |

Millwall ripped up the netting in their sterile area after about 10 mins and got closer to the Blues end, but nothing was ever going to happen there because of the design of the ground. A few chairs went flying the other way from the Blues end. Think a few coaches that were late anyway were even later because of that. The police were round very quickly pushing them back and there were a few police horses around. Didn't encounter anything on the way home, Millwall seemed to leave very quickly after tha game |

The coaches were held up for about 45 mins because of reports of fighting by 200 blues fans who came down by train. But when i got into the ground I chatted to a few who had come by train and they all told me there wasn't any trouble. So my question is why did the police make us miss the first goal and the firsty 15mins of the match?! |

Totally agree Bear, we were stuck on those late coaches too, it was so frustrating when we got there and spoke to fans already in there who had seen/heard nothing! Maybe it wouldnt have been so bad if we hadnt missed Gray's goal. But we got the result in the end so the long trip was worth it! :) |

Yes they did try and get at us inside the ground, but because of the way the stadium is set out, they were never likely to. A few chairs were smashed in the Blues end and thrown onto the pitch and terraces to our left as a response. But basically a lot of noise with little of note really happening. After the game was very quiet, the OB have got it sorted much better than after the Playoff game there a few years back, and getting home was very uneventful. Didnt get home till 3:30am tho !! |

What game were you at? There was no seats thrown at to the pitch what so ever !!! Isnt it amazing how people can say these things and give us a bad name. As for the old bill then yes it was well organised as if you went on the coaches it was for the play off game, for everything that went on that night blues fans were never in any trouble as the old bill kept idiots away with horses and riot shields. The one bad thing that nobody has mentioned yet is the racist abuse that our black players recieved last night. It was terrible and something needs to be done about it. It really got to Emile and if you wasnt there then watch his reaction when he scores , as he runs the lenght of the pitch with his hands behind his ears as much as to say i cant hear you now!!! Great reaction from him i thaught |

Yes there were seats thrown. I was there. I saw them. There would be no point in a person who was there saying such a thing if it didn't happen. If you didn't see it, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. And yes the abuse was disgusting. |

Without a shadow of a doubt there were 2 seats on the pitch by the touchline as the steward dragged them off. Not that it matters either way really. Also the racist abuse ?? You were not at the game mate. They were abusing all our players but as the chants could clearly be heard, it was nothing to do with colour !! Heskey = chants re: You`ll never play for England again etc Gray = chants re: anti-Palace Pennant = chants re: jailbird etc Melchiot = nothing. |

My apologies. I did indeed assume you meant that no seats were thrown. But I don't see how it gives the club a bad name for someone to say seats were thrown at the pitch and terraces, when in fact they were only thrown at the terraces. What in my view gives the club a bad name is that people supposed to be Blues fans throw seats inside a football ground. |

i agree struway - with todays technology they can be "spotted" on cctv and caught. then if there's any sense, ban em for life from all footy grounds  |

i was there and i didnt hear no rasict chants, they where calling hesky a rude swear word that i cant type on this board, but that was about it! as for in the ground, when we turned up, you heard all teh blues shout zulu, when we entered the ground and some 15 year old milwal fans break past the segregation but they had no where to go as they were in the top end what were they going to do? jump 15 feet to teh floor then try to climb up another stand??? as for the ob, yes they were well organised but were abit moody as they took us from a pub at 6.30 and we still made it to teh game late, they treated us like animals once again and packed us on to 3 carriges of a 6 carrige train, when there was easily 250 blues there getting squashed. they closed all stations we went through as if we were going to attack inoccent people because we are football fans! and to top it all off whacked a few over the head with a cosh at london bridge because their was a bit of pushing from the back! |

Just idiots I`m afraid. Ah well, roll on the QF`s so we can all talk about the good things in life yesterday. Also, my apologies to Emile Heskey as me (and others in my section) were giving him stick for not getting back on-side quickly enough (nothing to do with how he was playing and battling as I thought he did pretty well), but as we read today he had injured his knee so was prob not very mobile. KEEP RIGHT ON all the way to the final at Cardiff (I think ??) |
