Ok ive seen a post about saying we need a 4th striker , if money is going to be a problem in jan .... lets go for the old faithfull ! Even if money wont be a problem we will be pushed to find someone like him. Theres posts about players who have passion and pride in wearing the royal blue ...... we know geoff gives 110% every game. In todays papers Hull city are looking to buy him for £800,000 . Bargain :P |

Passion and pride alone do not win you games. Geoff was brilliant for us and epitomised what we were all about in that 1st season. However, if people think back honestly, it is only his goals against the vile that have pushed him into Blues folk law. Until he scored against the vile people were questioning his ability. During our promotion season people had begun to say they didn't think he was good enough. 2 goals later and he's a hero. I'll always love the Horse and think he was fantastic for us when he was here. However, I would not want SB to resign him. The team has changed and I don't think he'd be the best player to fit in with what we've got here now. |

Horse did always give 100% in every game he played but I don't think he is the answer now. We already have a big strong centre forward in Heskey... and as much as I think Horsefield is a great player I think he and Heskey are far too alike. We need somebody small and quick like an AJ or a Bellamy, who can get in behind defenders and collect the flick ons from Heskey. |

We had someone quick and agile. We had someone that worked well with Heskey and Forssell. We had someone who made them tick when he was on the pitch. Clinton Morrison. SB sold him and shot himself in the foot. AJ won't come back and Bellamy has already turned us down because the £££ were in his eyes. Forssell and Heskey will be excellent but we have to get both of them fit for a sustained period of time. I would rather have kept Morrison in all honesty. At least he's fit and scoring goals all eb it for Palace. |

In my opinion Morrison had enough chances to prove he could score consistently in the premiership and he didnt take them. Yes he is scoring goals for Palace, but they are playing the likes of Burnley and Rotherham instead of Chelski and Man Utd. On top of that he didnt want to play for Birmingham anymore so why keep him? You are right that Bellamy wont come to us but we need a similar type of player. AJ could be prised away from Palace I feel and somebody like Robbie Keane could also be a good buy. |

Morrison had enough chances, and was more succesful hitting the back page of the mail, than the back of the net. As for pace, don't make me laugh. I don't think I ever saw him run past a defender. The only thing he did was work the channels!! I'll give him credit, he did that well, but then ruined it by stopping or throwing his arms in the air! Hes a decent Championship striker! |

As a Morrison supporter I agree with that. He had ample opportunity to make it work and didn't. That's life. No hard feelings. He's back where he seems to play best; the Championship. Good luck to the bloke. |

i'd love the Horse back at the Blues.... but i reckon he was sold because of something personal and no other reason. shame because he was brilliant for us. It's hard to say but The horse is not going to save us. Send for AJ....his goals could do it for us. |

brilliant shout, i'm sure Bruce has his eye on that situation. Never understood Robbie.... had the world at his feet, now he's ordinary...big shame. |

Injuries, at his peak (which was early in his career) he looked world class though. It seems Citeh want to sell because if he makes two more appearances for them its gonna cost them 500k Knowing Brucies record (Yorke, Anderton etc) you've got to make us one of the favourites to sign him |
