...Want a guess at which fantastic footballer was seen in brum the other day?

None other than Jeff Kenna! Came into my work, so i had to ask him how he was and begged him to come back, but he was having none of it! ;)

Why would you beg that waste of space to come back?

Because despite his age he showed more commitment than some of the current squad. Even when he was played out of position (remember that goal he scored from left back)

Couldn't agree more....
Waste of space? That comment is an absolute disgrace!
We've never been the same since he left....
Didn't he make the cross from the right wing for Stan to score against the Vile in our first match against them in the Prem?

I totally agree.

Clearly he is past his best and is not up to premiership standard, but that is No reason to disrespect him Blueblood. He never let us down, gave 100% every week and with his "sort" of committed players in our side, we achieved far far better results than we are now.

well we have allready got those sorts of players. Johnoson, clemence, clapham, lazaridas ect they all give 100% and also they have more quality then kenna, so what would be the point we would get an older more injury prone player who would run around for 20 mins get injured and be out for the season.

LOL glad someone else realised that Blooboy.

My son hated seeing him playing as said popstar gives him the heebeegeebees - & said popstar stil does.

It's a great threat though - He's got his own private jet & I've got his mobile number.

Sometimes it's great being a parent :D

NO....that ws our second PL game against them.......the 1st was the 3-0 win at SA earlier that season...I seem to recall Vile's goalie making a 'boo boo'

Seriously though,Jeff Kenna was great for us but he's too old now

I will never get to grips with why people have to run our players, now even our old players, down. What is it with people?

Jeff was a great player for us, at the time we needed his type of player desperately. I remember his very strong full back perrformances in the early days, and his superb wing work, and particularly the work he did to assist the goal against the villa in our first season in the Premiership.

Great memories. But for some folk ~ bitterness. Their problems not jeffs.

Great pro, and instrumental in our promotion and survival.

Some people just fail to forget these things.
