The fifth round of the Carling Cup have been revealed and here is what it looks like.

Doncaster v Arsenal
BIRMINGHAM v Manchester United
Middlesbrough v Blackburn
Wigan v Bolton

All I can say is that's us over and done with the cup then.

never say never - we'd never beaten @rsenal til last season and we did them...manure may choose a lesser side if it coincides with eiro footy and, lets face it, they aint exactly unbeatable these days... kro, eh? ;)

There are a lot of games to be played over the christmas period and i doubt very much Man U will want to risk all their superstars in this cup competition.

They will want to save Rooney & Rvn for the leage and champions leauge games.

I'm glad we have Man U. We could be away to Wigan or Doncaster and you know we would loose.

Everyone will be up for it and if we get them on an off day, then who knows.

A few years ago we would have been delighted to get such a draw, lets not forget how far we have come in such a short time.

Bring the game on.

Great draw. A big night, completely winnable & could really kick-start our season.

Old cliche, but we have to play the biggies at some point, so why not now? Lose ~ no loss of face, win we get loads of benefits. For Man U it is just about downsides. Plus we get a good gate at a good price for this one.

Exactly. We can win this. It won't be easy and everybody will have already written us off........... AT YOUR PERIL LONDON MEDIA!!
If minnows such as Doncaster can beat premiership teams, then we are certainly more than capable of taking Man U to the cleaners. Our record against bigger teams is far better than it is against those around us; BELIEVE fellow bluenose. I do.

David Dunn, Muzzy Izzet, Emile Heskey, Jermaine Pennant, Matthew Upson, Mario Melchiot, Julian Gray, Nicky Butt - we have some real top drawer quality players there alone. If that doesn't get the heart racing against the likes of Scholes Van Nistelrooy Ronaldo then nothing will.

KRO!!!

As others have said...in any Cup tournament you've got to face the bigger teams sooner or later

At St Andrews we have plenty of say in this game

Come on Blues.........United may rest some of their senior players especially with the December schedule so never say never...those who have already written us off wtf** ,go and support the Vile FFS

Lets not lose faith, if we can beat arsenal we can beat man u. I think if we can keep a draw up to penalty shoot outs we can beat them, man u has great players as we all know but don't forget we have good players on our side too.

Don't give up too easily.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!

I was quite pleased with the draw for the Carling Cup to be honest.

Man United never take this cup too serious and they will put out an under strength team as usual. They only played a full strength team against WBA as a tribute to Besty.

I think we just need to go into the game with a positive attitiude and hope for the best. I fancy a trip to cardiff!

me too dave - i reckon this is a golden opportunity, although i gotta say united were brilliant against pompey - we start as underdogs, but not massivley so, and i feel good about our chances ;)
