Cant see why we'd need another central midfielder like Holland, but id take Kiely. As for fowler please no, the last thing we need is another slow past it striker. We badly need someone with pace who will stretch teams, dare i say it lets bite the bullet and get AJ back in January. |

Definatly. That performance 2 seasons ago when we lost 2-1, he was unbeatable!! we would have won 10-2 if it wernt for him. However, Taylor& Vaeson are enough tho i think |

Me too, and it would be in keeping with Brucie and his signings (think Anderton and Yorke) Regardless first priority is a pacy striker. Fowlers movement and skill may still be there, but he's lost more than a yard of pace, and he was never lightening to begin with. |

fowler used to be one of the best forwards ever...would have loved him here 3-4 years ago...sadly slower, injury proun?...very high wages! we seem to have a great need for pace in the team !!...is holland also a player slightly passed his best? |

Hmm, I'm fairly happy with the 3 goalies we have at the club, at the moment, so i don't think we need Dean Kiely. Robbie Fowler is past his best, would cost too much in wages and yes, we need a striker but a pacy one who can turn defences around, which Fowler doesn't do anymore. As for Matt Holland, i've always been a fan of his but i don't think we need to add to our centre midfielders, at the moment. Give the guys who haven come back from injury a chance before looking elsewhere i say. |

Kiely.....a couple of years ago....yes. Now, no. Taylor and Vaeson are good enough for us. Holland....No. As others have said, he is no better than what we have already got. Fowler....No. Way past his sell by date. |

Fowler has been past his sell by date for some time, Maybe Brucie will loan a striker and work his magic, I know he is after a defender. |

I'd say if we got Robbie Fowler on a free or a nominal fee then YES...he is still a high quality marksman at this level (plus he's played with Heskey before, good partnership,,I recall those two combined well to score v US in Cadiff 2001) What happened to Jason Euell ???? Now he would be better than Holland although if we are going to raid Charlton Athletic for players in Jan....then Luke Young and Danny Murphy without doubt |

Dean Kiely is a good goalkeeper and i believe he has had a falling out with his manager? It could be an option but i would like to see Doyle given the jersey in the long term. Great potential and he did well for Milwall on saturday. Holland - i very much doubt it. He is only available on loan and we have used up our 2 loans from the prem this season. Besides which i believe WBA are in the pole position for him (if they dont get Keane) Fowler - well we all said we wanted a young pacey striker and what will we get? Fowler used to be a very good player but he is very injury prone now. He suffers with a back injury and that is something that will continually cause problems. He also commands around £40k a week wages. Too much for a player of his age. |

Fowler also seems to have a disruptive effect on the Dressing Room.... Every Team he's played for since his great hay days has failed.... Hate to bring up the subject again - but a bit like Lee Bowyer! What we need is a Captain with desire and passion and bite and enthusiasm.... I love KK to bits, but he's done his job for us and we need to move on to the next stage.... |
