i have suffered withdrawall simtoms since i have moved to lockerbie 5 years ago, after being a season ticket holder for 5 years. i have had this week off since the fixture list was announced so i could go to the next game two games and i cant wait so come on blues make me proud so i can sing my heart out tomorrow night in the tilton.

Litle Bluenose,

Football matches are played on a monday night so people like you can still see them.

With increasing numbers of people, apparently, being priced out of the game TV is the only way many get to see a game.

I am old enough, just about, to remember how boring it used to be without live football on TV. Sundays were suicide inducingly boring.

At least you'll see the game tomorrow. if it was a normal midweek game, Tuesday night, it wouldnt' be on TV and you wouldnt' see it at all.

Actually, the reason for playing football on Monday nights (and at other stupid times of the day and night) is to make vast amounts of money for the broadcasters and a choice few football clubs. If you think that the FA and Sky arrange these games out of the goodness of their hearts so little lads and girls can watch in the warmth of their parent's loving embrace you're kidding yourself!

I remember Sundays as a great footie day on TV. Anyone remember Star Soccer on ITV? It always reminds me of my mom's roast dinners. All those long haired footballers trying to run around in 3 feet of mud. Those were the days.

Am I becoming a sad old git? I think so....... :(
