It would appear that the game is to be Tuesday 20th December and televised live on sky !

So lets keep the ticket prices at a sensible level and ensure a full house to cheer the lads on, rather than rows of overpriced empty seats for the neutral to see on the box !

They have kept them low.

£20 adult and £10 concessions.

Pretty fair considering its the quarter finals of a cup.

shocked! but pleased.

Is it a gesture? or knowledge that to get full house that is the price that the market dictated?

I bet the latter!

They have come down but thats still a lot for a cup game, 4 days before christmas. They wont get a very big turn out considering its also on sky and we play them again just after. I really want to go, I never miss home games but im a uni student struggling for money so don't know if I can so close to christmas. :(

No they are not a charity, and the prices this time are sensible, but this is because of fear of price sensitivity not a gesture. If they felt they could sell out at £45 they would try! so they have woken up, and I bet that scares them a little.

so common sense, or REALITY, found its way in to st andrews, lets see if it carrys thru to other areas.... don't hold breathe

No, Blues ain't a charity and the board price the tickets at what they believe will fill the ground and maximize profit. I think that most people would prefer to pay £20 here and get a player or two in come January rather then get in for a fiver and see no movement in January.

(Just for the thick people out there, I'm not saying that players coming in or out is dependant on the ticket price for this one game... ;) )
