After watching the gutless performance last night I think I will concede that we are going to get relegated. I honestly can’t see where a win is going to come from! I honestly thought that we could beat west ham and follow that with a win over Fulham. That would have given us a little bit more confidence going in to some big games (man u, Chelsea etc…) However last night I witnessed a side (I wont say team as they are not playing as one) totally devoid of ideas, motivation or balls for a long hard battle.

After the match we sat in the pub totally dismayed at what we had seen. We all know that we are in a relegation battle, but the players don’t seem to.

This isn’t a rant or moan, its just accepting the fact that I think we will go down. This won’t affect my support unlike some 5000 or so missing from last night, and I try to look on the bright side… so here’s to a cheaper season ticket and trips to some old stomping grounds.

Keep right on boys please prove me wrong and show some balls on Saturday and from now on… I will gladly eat my words

The difference between mine and your thoughts Jassy is that we don't have to go down!

If the board were to show some b**** and sack Bungle then we could get in a manager that will show some fight.

Read the comments on the BCFC front page: "I'm not blaming injuries, but.........................."

Get him out, get Burley in - kick out the players that don't want to fight and lets get up this table.

There is time. FFS there are some terrible teams in this division

Lets get a manager that wants us to stay up, not one thats more interested in courting a media career

There is time. I am absolutely certain there is time to sort this out. WE CAN STAY UP - WE DON'T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS C***!

But we won't stay up if Bungle is at the helm.

what surprises me is why people are surprised we got beat ,although we won 2 games we were very poor and showed me nothing to suggest we had turned the corner,we beat 2 very very poor sides and did not play well so in effect we have not improved one jot.too many players going through the motions lately.

How the **** was last night gutless?

For the entire second half every blues player gave it their all, they might not have been playing to their best ability but there was no lack of commitment.

WHAT????????

Please explain to me, in as many words as you care to mention, how that bottler Julian Gray gave his all?

I have never witnessed in all my time watching Birmingham City, a display by an individual which lacked any commitment in a potentially difficult ball position, whether it was an oncoming tackle by a defender, or an area in which he would have had to take a bit of stick to get the ball.

Julian Gray, is not injured. Julian Gray, is not nursing any old injuries. Julian Gray, is a bottler.

He has done this before on a number of occassions, and should never, EVER, be allowed to pull on that shirt again.

First half............ meh. He did, for whatever reason, seem to be a bit hesitant.

Second half however i didn't see him put a foot wrong when it came to commitment.

The problem is that this isn't the first time he's done this. It has been noticed on numerous occassions that Julian Gray, bottles challenges.

If anything, he's going to injure himself by pulling out of them.

I just can't abide a situation, when we are in need of everyone pulling together and really fighting, where players refuse to get drawn into a 50/50 situation. They just should not be playing football.

any player that turns his back on a tackle is gutless! Gray did this on more than one occasion

I don’t know what you class as a fight but what I saw last night was definitely not that. Two player stood out, Heskey and Dunn apart from that too many were absent.

I think you're being a bit harsh on account of being upset.

Can't blame you for that at all, but looking at the game objectively there was quite a bit there to suggest better things are coming our way.

Dunn's excelent return to the team, Heskey's calm and precise finish, Pennant's crosses from in play (his corners though - what on Earth's going on?), Taylor growing as an established centre half before he hurt his ankle, Butt having an impressive second half and the fact that the entire team didn't just collapse and give up.

We are not going to get relegated.

Pennant's crosses from in play

I agree with the majority, but I thought Pennant's performance was poor. Lazaridis crosses were more of a threat than Pennant's and his lack of effort and commitment was second only to Gray's.

Yes that is more like it, positives, and in all fairness we did try to get back into game, and had enough chances to do so, we can survive, and i will be there to the end of the road hoping we can

I couldn't go to the game last night( please note couldn't not didn't) and havn't been able to bring myself to watching the recorded game fron sky+ exept for the goals and would just like to mention their 2nd goal, the ball was so far over the line it was almost in the stands for crying out loud, what on earth was the linesman doing? and fair play to Brucie he hasn't even mentioned it to use as an excuse, unlike some managers, stand up O'Dreary, Souness etc.

The ball may have just been over the line but it certainly wasn't by much. Like many games this season there is a hard luck story attached to it. The simple truth is that we can't afford to feel sorry for ourselves any longer. Bleating on about bad luck only gives the players/manager excuses and the time for excuses has longed passed and the club right from the top down needs to take a long hard look at itself before its too late.

The ball may have been over the line and the crowd shouted "OUT", only the Blues team stopped and West Spam played on--- Result = ball in the back of the net, for gods sake its basics, you play to the whistle.

All i know and all anyone needs to know is that we are all doomed, still when we go down does that mean we will see more games at the proper time of 3, o clock.JPK what game were you at , were you in the bog for most of it, Gray was a disgrace, pennant was and has been as useful as a choccy fireguard, stanley showed how to deliver proper attackable crosses, Dunn was fine ,heskey Battled manfully the rest were cack, just not good enough ;)
