The board appointed SB to do a job. Get us into the Prem. Job done no problem. They gave him funds to keep us in the Pem. Job done no problem. They gave him more funds to consolidate in the Prem. Job done no problem. They gave him more funds to kick on into Europe!!!! Job not done, big problem.
In 33 years I cannot remember the Blues playing one up front at home. Not even when we were in the old third division!!!. I cannot remember a Blues manager who had an English central defender in his squad playing him at Left back. I cannot remember a Blues manager playing 2 wingers in the same midfield not in the last 15 years anyway.

The situation at the club is nothing short of a disgrace but all to sadly it's one that long suffering fans like me have come to expect. For a while I wanted to believe that we finally had a board that really wanted to push this club forward and, when I used to post more regularly supported them, particularly David Suullivan who has got to much stick IMO for speaking his mind. That faith has proved misplaced.

There has been major errors made in the summer with team strengthening ( or lack of it ) and the decision to go with just three strikers just begger's belief.Walter Pandiani should not have been signed ( and for those with the know how check my summer postings to that effect). We gambled on the Forse being the player we had two seasons ago and that gamble has not come off. What is obvious is that we had no plan B and that in my view this shows a major error in judgement.Just who was thinking what if his fitness does not come up tp scratch? Clearly nobody! Or we just did not want to spend serious money on a replacement which I think is nearer to the truth. No, instead let's all pat ourselves on the back and reassure ourselves that this is the best squad of players in the club's history and if we all say it long enough and often enough we will believe it. David Gold just annoys me with his complantency and we are not hearing to much about how good the squad is now!

There have been weaknesses in the side that have not been addressed particularly at left back and cover for Kenny Cunningham. We lack pace and cannot play the game quickly enough. This is not new. This has been the case for at least the last season and a half and as much as we hate to admit it we desparately miss Robbie Savage.

We are going down. The transfer window is unforgiving and we will be too far off the pace by the time it opens. We have lost to some average sides like last night.Teams have us worked out and SB clearly cannot counter this.

The Board's support of him will cost them my support.I am fed up of supporting a club that just let's me down. The cost is not just finanical,it's emotional.I have come to the conclusion that we will never win anything. We cannot punch our weight and when I look to the Board for some decisive action all I see is the same nonsense we had with TF long after he should have gone. I have a season ticket but won't be using it on saturday.I have better things to do with my time and am just sick of seeing the same old failure that is the recurring the experiece of supporting Blues.

Frankly I have had enough.Good luck with the club and I just hope you do not end up wasting as much time as I have with it.It might have been better had we just gone out of business in 1993 and you never came.At least I could be spared this constant dissappointment of seeinfg us fall flat on our faces.

Let your heart beat strong and allt hat.

you should donate your season ticket to someone else then, because quite frankly the club don't need people like you there!!

my message to everyone connected with the club, is lets stick together, fight and show some pride (that means the fans aswell get your ar5e to the matches if you can)

You miss the point that I am making. It's not just a bad patch,it's the recurring failure of the club to step up and compete as a serious football force. My post reflects my disappointment over forty years of supporting a club that just cannot get it's act together. The Board did not do enough in the summer and they are not doing enough now.We have lost six out of seven home games this season! That good enough for you? It sure as hell is not good enough for me and to hear the Board say that they will stand by the manager even if we go down is not want I want to hear. It's reinforces the mentality that we are lucky to just be in the Premiership and are not serious about competeing.

The post was intented for the Board and may not be popular with you or others but is heart felt and how I feel.

Let your heart beat strong and all that.

i'll be there against Fulham, but anything other than a win and my seat and my uncles will remain empty the whole season, i'm not doing it anymore.... i've made sacrifices over the years for the Blues...but i refuse to watch that shower.

if you refuse to sack Bruce...i fear a mutiny on your hands, ... i may turn up at the home Wigan game just to see the the Bruce out flags go up around the ground.

thank you and congratualations in making a failing club into a successfull thriving buisiness and taking us blues fans along for the ride,me personally never expected the blues to make it in a million years and thought tf was the b all and end all of managers, but iam so proud of what we have done.
i went on holliday to mexico in 96 taking along my blues shirts, when trying to explain who birmingham city were was allways a problem but i bet thats changed now, gone are the days of old and we stand on the dawn of a new era the new stadium the future you have given us.
i would like to say thankyou to ds the golds kb and most of all to steve bruce who single handedly dragged us from the depths of the 1st division to the all powerful premiership where we by rights should have fellen from at the first campaign, but as lady luck would have it we were spared, and the story remains un finished as of now the fans who once marvelled at this great blues manager who was set for great things have now started to turn on him.
he needs the help of the board the commitment from the players lady luck and the over whelming support of the die hard fans thats where you and i come in.

I'm bored and depressed so here goes....

I think the players need a few messages:

Nico- Its nice to have you back and I have been impressed with how you command the box.
Mario- There's been rumours that you want to leave but I think its more that you want our players to play to their utmost. Your commitment and ambition is what we need, so keep believing. Don't jump ship just yet; I know you want a good career but we need you for the battle ahead!
Kenny- You are a fantastic footballer with a great knowlege and vision; you still have it so keep fighting. Sherringham is 39- bloomin' ek you're a spring chicken!!!
Matty- You have been a workhorse for us for the last few seasons and haven't put a foot wrong the majority of the time. You're quiet and just get on with the job- this has probably made us not appreciate you enough. While we don't often show it- Blues fans appreciated you massively- I know its hard but you and Kenny were one of the best defensive partnerships last season- it hasn't changed overnight; you have just lost that belief in yourselves.
Tiny- I have criticized you in the past but you have made me eat my words lately. You have been strong and have gained in confidence. Keep it up!!
Stan- Nice to see you back. We all know you are counting the days until your are back in Aus and understand that your heart lies there. However, you are still with us for now so please give everything for us- we need you skippy!!
Pennant- Do you remember when you came to the club- you were so determined and wanted to show the world how good you were. You're a fantastic player and have the potential to be massive. Just keep believing and be mentally strong. Bruce needs you to repay him now more than ever now. We all wanted you to come to Blues and understand that you have made a few mistakes- we all have. But now is where you show your maturity by keeping strong and giving everything for your manager and club. Don't let a few dodgy corners/free kicks knock your confidence- you have worldclass skill in you!
DJ- God is a DJ! Keep it up boyo; your fight is inspirational! Player of the year- you show 'em!!!
Kilkenny- wow; what a youngster! Don't get dragged down into the 'we can't win mentality'. Since you have come into the first team you have fired them all up- keep your mental strength and keep going- we need you to keep believing!
Butt- You've had a rocky start at our club and probably wish you hadn't come. But you've experienced these highs and lows more than most, so should understand that they are only temporary. We have seen some glimpses of fine football from you and when you're fighting you rev everyone up- keep that energy and belief going and you will see another great escape and you will have made a major contribution to it. We need your experience to help us out of this!!
Jarosik- Thank you for the 'Lampard' kicks this season...we've needed you badly. However, I think you're getting disheartened which is not on. You chose to come to Birmingham and things haven't gone according to plan-yes this is hard, but fighting to get us to turn this around will build character and will really show people what you are made of!
Gray- Not sure what is happening with you mate? We have seen some fine, fine football from you and then you seem to not care and bottle out of everything? This is a relegation 'battle' and we need battlers- you are capable of giving some spark down the left so get stuck in and prove us whingeing Brummies wrong!
Dunny- wowee this is the man that has had major back surgery!!? Thank god for a Bleakburn fan I say (wash my mouth out!). Keep the faith Dunny and gee up the slackers/sulkers. Thank god for Dunny!!!
Izzet- Hope the injury isn't too bad. You have been awesome since you have come back- looking forward to seeing you soon!
Heskey- what a true true professional. Our player of the season last year and our battler of the season this year (alongside DJ that is!). You've had little or no real partnership all season but have kept your 'never-say-die' attitude throughout. Keep going Heskey, the battle has just begun and you are our gladiator!!
Pandiani- You have had a very unsettled start to the season owing to your last employers being @rseholes. You have then had to give way to Forssell and been 'used' for situations which have not shown off your best qualities. We have seen some fine football from you when you've been supported well and believe that you can be a fine goalscorer. We know you're desperate to play well for Blues so keep being professional and getting into that box!
Forssell-Hurry up mate! Feed the Force and he will score!!!

I know I've missed a couple out but I'm losing the will to live!!

All I can say is that WE NEED YOU!!! Bruce needs you, Blues need you, The fans need you!! I know we haven't been the most supportive fans this season but we really REALLY need you now. Please give everything you've got on saturday- BE STRONG AND BELIEVE!!!!!!

What is there to say, first off we needed to be more attacking from the start of the season and monday just showed why. Seriously when butt came on i knew we were going to lose even though in theory we were defending a 1-0 lead how do you expect to do that for 75 minutes. the one problem was we didnt even try to defend shocking defending actually cost us the game despite bringing on another defensive mid i wonder y...... hmmm maybe because we only had one striker with dunn playing behind then no other attackin options apart from pennant, and dont even get me started on gray shiesh why is he scared of other players tacklin or kicking the ball at him hes 26 years old. i got told he had a great game at millwall i dont care because at this rate he have to play well next season against them.
does anyone know how many crosses we get in a game its a lot but how many goals? play it along the ground be inventive flick it over someones head and volley it and if it goes miles wide well try again. We need more goals from the rest of the team especially with one striker.

OK Bruce has got to go more attackin we have to take that risk and against big teams we lose by one goal when we try and defend but if we go attackin more often yeh we might lose 3-0 but on the other hand we might beat a team by 2 or 3.

As for the board well they've put in good money into the club since we got in prem and why spend money on players we dont need. I can understand why they wouldnt give us much money in january seeing as relegation is a real posibility and they dont want the club to suffer from overspending, on the other hand i believe this needs to be done as we need a new left back centre back and a fast striker i wouldnt mind if we only got two of these but we do need them as cunningham admitted himself is worried about his fitness over the whole season.

ONE LAST POINT i dont like the booing at half time and at the end of the game we need to get behind the team not against were all in this together.

All I can add is that:-

YES - I will still respond to every begging letter you still send.
YES - I will buy from the shop or online and not at cheaper outlets (because as you so often say, the money goes to building the team and the ground.)
YES - I will still go to St Andrews.

BUT:-

NO - I will not renew my season ticket if Steve Bruce is still in charge.
NO - I will not support a new Stadium anymore, because I believe if any of you had watched closely this last 18 months, the team, not the New Stadium progress,
you would have had Steve in the boardroom, slapped his legs and made him stand in the corner.

BUT:-

YOU DIDN'T.
