I think we should scrap Mr Blue Sky, it cleary isn't working as an entrance tune, it's more of a build up song. What do you think to having 'The Impossible Dream' as our new entrance theme by Andy Williams? |

I have to say it .... the olde original version of KRO just kills things stone dead. Then we have the Tom Ross and Bluenose Brothers thing which jumps up and down on the corpse just to make sure it's dead - then Mr Blue Sky (which last night started after the teams had come out)! Surely it's not that difficult for the PA folk to get some decent music and time it correctly. |

"Trouble" by Coldplay? "Under Pressure" by Queen + Bowie? "What You Waiting For" by Gwen Stefani? "Gallows Pole" by Led Zeppelin? "Mayday" by The Libertines? "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad" by Moby? Anything to get the message through to them |

The Smiths is always a good option: "That Joke isn't funny anymore" "Panic (on the streets of Birmingham)" "Please please please let me get what I want" "Heaven knows I'm miserable now" The list goes on . . . . **thumbup |

It's just a bit stale at the moment. I much preferred Mr Blue Sky before the players came out, as a build up song. I know it was voted for off the site etc, but it needs changing. I personally like the KEEP RIGHT ON, singing the blues etc. But we need a new tune to come out to, shift ELO's Mr Blue Sky back a few tracks, and get an entrance tune that fits us at the moment, ie The Impossible Dream. Something that will inspire the players, old, classical, heroic. |

I like the idea of "The Great Escape" but of course that's the Boggies tune isn't it.... I also like "Keeping The Dream Alive"..... But we have to come up with a blokey song really..... Something that doesn't mean raising your nuts up around your ears in order to hit the high notes.... It's a bit like that when singing "...dreaming of...." with KRO.... And something which is uncomplicated and fairly easy to remember.... The songs we sang in the 60's and 70's were variations on pop songs current at that time like "Hey Blues" to the tune of "Hey Jude".... And "You've Not Seen Nothing Like Fred Pickering" to "The Mighty Quinn".... What current songs could we adapt? And right now I'll sit back and wait for all the jokers.... |

AGREED!!!! When you heard Bluesky you knew any minute the game was coming and then Tamperer would kick in. I have got to be honest and say for the second half I felt a right plonker cos i was the only one clapping in the rows around me. It just does nothing. I love the song but it really isnt working |
