The message on web site could well have been written to me. I have been so disillusioned by our performances that for the first time in twelve years I could not be botthered to support my team. The match I failed to make the two hour journey for was the Bolton game. The results at Sunderland and Millwall made me reconsider for the West Ham match. I attended and I'm glad I did for it confirmed my decision to miss the postponed match. So upset am I about the current situation that I was wondering why I should turn up on Saturday. You have provided the answer. I will attend because you asked. I will never boo the team but they are not giving us the committment that I expect from myself and therefore expect from everyone connected to BCFC. I see that committemnt from Steve Bruce, I see it from you, The Board. I do not however see it from players like Gray, Butt, Pandani et al. I do see it from Heskey and David Dunn who gave everything and more yesterday. So I will be there on Saturday, I will continue to support the team, I wll hope that we see 90 minutes of committment and not heads dropping when things go against us like Izzet getting injured again. I will expect the defence to concentrate unlike their actions for the second goal. My son who is Nine concentrates better than the defence of yesterday. I will hope that Gray and Pennant are dropped to the bench, I hope that Kilkenny plays from the start. I will always and forever be grateful to you our Baord for saving our club. Please do not sack Steve Bruce however any of the players that do not show the same committment as you and me should be not allowed the privilage of wearing the Blue shirt which most of us fans would willingly exert ourselves in the cause until we dropped. My reply to the Board: Get a decent manager who has at least some tactical knowledge and the fans will return in their droves. There wont be any need to send begging messages. You may be prepared to let Bruce take us into the Coca Cola League, and no doubt you can then pat yourselves on the back for your show of loyalty, but the fans want more. We are probably the least demanding set of supporters you are ever likely to encounter, but what we are being served up just isn't good enough. We could import the combined Welsh male voice choir and a host of town criers with megaphones to liven up the atmosphere at St Andrews, but believe it or not Bruce's tactical awareness isn't somehow regulated by ambient decibles. He'll still be clueless. (He just wont be able to hear himself not thinking). Stop treating the fans like mugs. Put the team right and everything else will fall into place. |

The stark truth is, that Stevie has lost it. Signing Butt, persisting with Johnson, Clapham, hitting the ball long - our team are not good enough despite the money spent. I feel sorry for all that have spent £350 plus, and seen 1 point at home. You cannot be unlucky for all these games...after all are we not continually told that these things even themselves out in a season? We are going one way, and regrettably thats downwards. |

First and foremost THANK YOU for everything, i will never forget the impact you have made for my club. Im not going to turn on you just because things havent turned out like I would have hoped. I promise you that I will stay with you until the end. If relegation is whats in place for us then I will be there with you in the championship aiming to bounce back to the prem. This is my promise to you, steve bruce and the players. Keep right on till the end of the road. I will never boo during a game of football and during the game cheer my team on. Debate and analysis can take place post match in pubs, work and on boards like this. |

chear up everyone the game is in the past we need to look to the future and give the lads massive support on sat, after all we aint playing that badly ! Come on enough talk of giving up your season tickets you all know you'd be lost without seeing the mighty blues play. (I would be) Stick together support the team and we will ALL get out of this rot we are in! |
