Why would deakin be bothered? he's a vile fan isn't he? was'nt it his idea to play the same intro music as vile, thunderbirds and all that sheet!

no to be fair he allowed the vote, and he allowed Kieth to play rush more, nothing wrong with that.

He has shown he is bluenose, takes time, but these people can be treated and cured... (actually thought he supported wolves, so he knows little about football, so best to keep him in office) ;)

but feel brady and deakin write stuff like this, but nothing special, stating obvious really!

Mr Deakin is a Vile fan Sam - not a wolves fan.

I believe this was confirmed during the Blues Villa game at St Andrews this season if reports are to be believed :ph43r:

As a "lad" i was very lucky, in that myself and my brother had season tickets both here and the other club! My hero in those days was the one and only Mark Dennis!! Once i left school, i played every saturday so didn't get to watch either side from then!

Which team do you support Mr Deakin? and was it you who wanted the same intro music as the vile?

You never answered either question

I'm a Birmingham fan and i did want to try a countdown prior to the players appearing, to build up a little atmosphere, but didn't specifically ask for the Thunderbirds one.. quickly became apparent that supporters didn't want it so i had it changed!

Thats quite an interesting post Sam!  Whereas i do not make a habbit of posting on the message board, i do feel compelled to repsond to your "points".  I can absolutely guarantee you that the plea for fans to turn out on saturday was entirely David Sullivan/David Gold/Ralph Gold.  No Brady re-write or Deakin spin at all in there!

Your comments regarding staff not giving a **** is entirely without truth or foundation.  I sometimes wish fans were able to see club staff after an evening like Monday.  We are all absolutely distraught about the current situation and i can assure you that it hurts like hell for us too!!

As for thinking we are "special" because we work for BCFC.. that is just laughable.  We care passionately about the club; because if you are not passionate here, or give 100% every single day (and often that is 7 days per week Sam. Not looking for a medal, just pointing out the facts) then this really isn't the place to work, as many have discovered!

In order to work for and represent this football club, a total commitment is the minimum requirement and your suggestions otherwise really are an insult to the staff here, who care just as much as you do.

Keep supporting!!!

I did not criticise all staff, you may note that the majority of my posts fully support, beyond call of loyalty, BCFC as a PLC.

I am stating my opinion of what I have seen, not the ticket office staff, but those who expose them to the mess, take the cup game, chaos outside when the game had kicked off, why lack of planning, this is nothing new, q's for tickets have been witnessed by me for years, cup final, play off final, season ticket collections, we are treated like cattle. Not the lower staff, I have nothing but admiration for them under pressure etc, nor the shop staff, again under pressure. It it the feeling that it is tipped against the average fan.

I have spoken to a few who are unhappy, and get over ruled and de motivated etc. It used to be a happier place for fans to attend, I know there is pressure, and people work hard, but I do feel the average fan is being taken for granted too much.

I apologise if the message was typed by gold and sullivan, but joking it did seem a little too diplomatic for Sullivan, u must admit? i am sure the original was more like.. "get your ***** back here now to support these censoreding players ..." and Gold is normally even more diplomatic than the message was, I felt someone had spun it to read right.

I am sure you want drive and commitment from your staff, and you correctly state that is what the situation is, and i meant no offence to them at all, it is just the ambience of the place, as a fan, that i feel is poor at moment, I am only sending out warning signs from your customers perspective.

take note, we will note be taken for mugs, or taken for granted. We will remain loyal, but not like a mindless dog... there is a limit.

(ps diplomatically stating you are blues fan.... lol, who did u support before becoming a blues fan for career reason?)

No need to reply in future i wont listen to rumours

ps why dont you let Keith decide what music to play,no offence to your goodself but he seems to be more in touch about how the fans feel and what they want.

I can't believe the board have almost had to write a begging letter to try and get a decent turnout on Saturday. A friend of mine who is a Newcastle supporter can't believe with a ground as small as ours that we will struggle to sell out at only £15 a ticket. This is getting embarrassing.

No, losing 6 out of 7 at home is embarassing

At a time of year when financial pressures are at their most people will have to choose where they spend their money. Also, many are sick and tired of the lack of passion shown on the pitch

I wish the emphasis of this slump was to be taken off the supporters and focused where it belongs: firmly on the shoulders of the manager and players.

If the players give us something to cheer we will, if they give us some good performances people will go, this "we don't blame you supporters, but...." attitude helps no-one

Its simple economics, we want value for money and we ain't getting it

The club should blame itself for the poor attendences.

They have engineered a long-term change to our fan base & now the chickens are coming home to roost.

The big picture is....

- we had a very loyal, largely working class fan base

- the club increased ticket prices & priced many working class fans out of the game

- they didn't care about that because football had become fashionable & could attract a new, wealthier audience

- trouble is the new fans are more fickle... they will pay £40 a game when things are going well...

- but when things are not going so well, they won't go however much the prices are reduced...

... as the club is now discovering to their cost.

Thought of a great way to fill the ground, send all the season ticket holders a voucher for £30 and give the rest of the seats away to fans as a christmas present!

yes would work, but won't happen, you may get a voucher to spend on a friend in the club shop, but where is the added value possibility for BCFC just to give us all £30.00 tickets for friends, apart from it may get these "friends" to come more often!

yes, trapped, addicted... hooked, daft, mugs.... gullible etc,

loyalty should be two way, not sure it always is..... felt "used" at st andrews at moment, I am sure they think,

BCFC accountant -"season ticket holders- 18,000 - in the bag... Ha ha... and then lets offer discount for the sensible ones who don't buy season tickets...."

other "director" - what about giving something back to the loyal core season ticket holders? surely only fair if discounts to part time fans?

BCFC accountant - "why?" will not make any difference to the number that come.......

reality, - No difference at all, we are trapped!

The board have issued an urgent and desperate plea for Blues fans to get down to St Andrews and support the team against Fulham

I would imagine the majorty of supporters will be there anyway as we support THE TEAM through thick and thin.

Yes.

And for the Fulham game, it would be nice if the whole team showed a bit of entheusiasm too, not the 3 or 4 that seem to be carrying them this season.
