Ok well it has been said that Bruce should be sacked and that a new manager should come in, Ok ok fair enough but I disagree with you all who say that, But I just need to ask you all something(The ones that are saying sack Bruce) I mean you say Sack Bruce but I rarely ever see anyone recomending a manager to come to St Andrews, So I just want to ask you all, Who do you want to be the next Birmingham Manager, And then say who realisticly will come, If it is the same one who you want as the manager then just one will do, I would like to stay with Bruce but I want to know all your opinions. |

George Burley, Bobby Robson, Alan Curbishley? by the way i don't want Br ucie out really, they are just some of the probable front runners for the blues job if it was up. Curbishley, he's rejected many clubs before, but he has a soft spot for blues, he used to play for us etc. With things going stale for him at Charlton, my money's on him if Brucie does go. |

I dont think SB's presence is having any positive affect on the players so the sack would be a good start Burley would be my first choice |

If we change Manager then my preference is Martin O'Neil.... But realistically I think that Brucie can do it if he gets the right kind of help.... And that means changing a major part of his Backroom Team! |

Yes but i think we need a quick fix, changing backroom would take time, and we dont have a lot of that. ;) |

it was upto to me i'd change Bruce and sack the entire backroom....i've never seen a shambles like it, and i've seen some pretty poor stuff down the Blues. Once it goes down the pan as far as we have it rarely changes unless there are some much needed changes. i doubt that there is a manager in Blues history that has been stood by as much as Steve has been. Terry Cooper suffered 5 defeats and was sacked if memory serve me... at the time i thought this was harsh as i liked him, but sentiment has to be put aside when your facing relegation. Which is why this puzzles me and worries me. if there is to be no change in management then i'd strip King Kenny of his captaincy and sign and install Roy Keane, even if it's a short term rest of the season with the aim of keeping us in the Premiership. if i had a choice of manager it would have to be George Burley.... main reason being is he has shown you don't need money to qualify for Europe, his teams play attractive on the floor football, which i believe is how it should be in the Premiership. sounds daft but Trevor francis's style of football would be ideal in the Prem...shame he couldn't get us here. |

I have said all along that we should stick by Bruce and give him a chance but to be honest Monday night was the first time I had other opinions. Personally, I feel that Bruce has lost the dressing room and we need somebody to come in and first of all give the players a boot up the a**e, but with better ideas tactically also. The person I feel would be best suited, and that I feel would be a realistic target and could be tempted is Curbishley. He has worked wonders with Charlton over the years but I have heard whispers of things not all being well at Charlton at the moment. In my opinion I would like him to come in now. Have 3 weeks to work with and look at the players we've got before deciding who he wants to ship out in January and who he would like to bring in. I know that this isn't going to happen now but that it is the one way I could see us avoiding relegation. Right now, as things stand, I'm resigned to the fact that we're going down!!! Will still sing my heart out on saturday and pray for a miracle though! KRO |

I was thinking this myself.....but that aint gonna happen. I'm afraid we're stuck with Bruce and his clown of an assistant. Blues are going down, and there's not a thing you, me or any other supporter can do about it. |

Without question I would want it to be Martin O'Neill. But as it has been previously mentioned, the prospect of that happening at the given time (or anytime for that matter) seems more than doubtful. Warnock and Burley would be a distant second and third options imo. With that said, unless O'Neill decides to join up, I say we let Brucie lead us where he may. KRO |

Big Sam Allardyce Look what he has done on a budget and the players he has found for free or small fees, Imagine the ones he has missed out on due to lack of funds. Big Sam comes across as very ambitious and a person who would love to have the funds to win trophies and challenge the likes of Man utd chelsea, arsenal and liverpool on a regular basis - which is a more realistic possibility with our board than with Boltons The same goes for curbs if not Roy Keane as player manager paired with Sir Bobby = guts, determination, passion, succesful men, tactical nous to boot |
