i like it how people praise gray if he scores but other wise have a moan at him, ok he might not have played as well as some vs west ham but what about the other 10 did they play so well which is why west ham won?

My problem is not with the quality of Gray's play. I know as well as anyone that form fluctuates and one bad game is no reason to criticise a player.

My gripe with Gray is his lack of heart. I've never seen a player with so little and that incident on Monday when he allowed the ball to run out for a goal kick just about summed it up.

I'm no great fan of Dj -- lots of effort, little end result -- but he would have thrown himself into that and I admire him for it.

If I was in the trenches fighting for my life, Julian Gray is the type of person I'd like to see there ... on the other side.

Agreed fully.
Gray was nothing short of a disgrace with his lack of effort throughout.

Julian Gray NEVER plays or looks even remotely interested if there is a "nasty" full back anywhere near him, EG Danny Mills, Repka, the list is endless. He was anonymous on Monday. When the going gets tough, you know you can rely on the guy who went to stage school with Denise Van-Outen to go missing ! I think the acting profession should have another look at him, after all he's had a few people fooled into thinking he's bothered about the Blues since he's been here.

Repka is a brilliant player, hard and aggressive...something dearly lacking with our defence.

I'd never call Repka brilliant... as a footballer he is utter crap. But he is certainly hard and aggressive and will fight to the death

I think that sums the situation up perfectly. And we ARE in the trenches now, that's for sure ! ;)

To me players like Gray, and to some extent Pennant, flourish in a team riding high on confidence. We are anything but that at the moment.

We need players to dig in and battle out for the points at the moment. Gray doesnt seem up for doing this.

Gray clearly can't tell the time.

The worst type pf player imaginable, no heart. He just doesn't care!

Well, I, for one am glad Mr Gray went shopping yesterday ( I can't imagine he'd have been at the game, supporting the team). Everyone gave 100%. It wasn't the most skillful performance, but we battled and never shirked a challenge **thumbup

Mr Gray has a lot of making up to do to a lot of people, especially the manager !

Hopefully it'll be a cold day in hell before Mr Gray pulls on a 'competetive' BCFC jersey again - competetive and Gray, aren't they mutually exclusive :-)

Its funny because Crystal Palace fans would come on here, or the bbc one, and say there will come a time when you're sick to the sight of him.

We all just told them to 'do one'. I'm not sick to the sight of him, he obviously should never have been picked for mondays game cause he was still injured. But he is by far the most frustrating player we have here.

Julian is a wet lettuce. He needs to bulk himself up a bit, to out muscle defenders. He is actually a good dribbler but very poor at crossing, and heading. He is a very frustrating player.
