Did anyone hear the commentator on football first on sky. After we had scored he said that we were well known for being loud & proud. We were at times against fulham but the "keep right on" after we had scored made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up,that was so loud.I know you cant blame the fans for not wanting to sing all the time as weve had nothing to shout about for a long time but that kind of atmosphere is intimidating and thats us playing our part in helping the lads on the pitch.Everytime my mates and i started singing yesterday some people looked at us like we had two heads.Anyone got any suggestions on how we can raise the volume until the end of the season and make St Andrews a fortress again.

It was an explosion of emotion when we scored,i was jumping around just as much as when Carter scored the penalty in Cardiff....Silly really but it seemed that important at the time!!!

At times the singing was very half hearted until we scored and then it was like old times

I'm not all that bothered about singing, but to get more singing I would suggest...

- fewer renditions of KRO (hard to sing, sounds cr@p half-hearted)

- more stuff like "We're on our way" ... catchy, easy to join in...

- a few witty chants wouldn't go amis either

Which reminds me (can't be @rsed to find the earlier thread about funny chants)... A couple of good ones in the sunday times today, supposedly Millwall chants prepared for their (cancelled, thank god) pre-season friendly with Iran...

"You're Shi'ite and you know you are"

"Get your face out for the lads"

Sadly, i think there are a few, just a small, minor amount now, that don't get involved with the singing etc.
Why this is, i don't know, all of a sudden they take an interest as we are a Premiership club? But sitting in the tilton yesterday the atmosphere was back, getting right behind the lads, especially in the 2nd half.
