i reckon in the following matches...we need at least six league points, but how do you see the following matches going??

Man City (A), ........................draw
Manchester Utd LGCP (H), .......i'm hoping a win, well you never know
Tottenham (A), .......................draw i hope
Man Utd (H), ............................lose, hope we can get more.
Chelsea (A), ...........................lose
Wigan (H), ..............................must win, another Fulham
Torquay FAC3 (A)......................win

i make that 5 league points, hope we get more. **thumbup

The City of Manchester Stadium AND White Hart Lane are both venues where our luck is due to change and NOW would be ideal ...we won at Spurs in the Worthington Cup 4 years ago but haven't notched a League victory there since the mid 70'
We are also due a home win v mighty ManYoo (last win was a 5-1 blitz back in 1978/79,courtesy of Don Givens and Alan Buckley) YES you didn't mis-read that ...it was 5 goals to one and ironically we went down that season

We have drawn the last 2 PL games at at Stamford Bridge and deservedly so

I predict (I am always an optimist)...NOWT WRONG WITH THAT
Man City ...3 points
Spurs ...3 points
Man Utd ...1 point
Chelsea ...1 point
Wigan ....3 points

11 points from 15 will most certainly drag us out of the bottom three and even 9 points from those would be a very decent return
Remember many of the other bottom SEVEN have to play each other over the holiday period and a crunch match will be Baggies v Vile on New Years Day Bank Holiday.....I really fancy the Albion at home in that one
We shouldn't worry about the tough fixtutres...in this standard of footy you have to play the best sooner or later......you wouldn't want this schedule in APRIL,would you, folks ????

Keep the faith and keep right on

Really hard to predict...

we are due a run of good form & good luck... if we can combine the extra effort & bite that we saw on saturday with dunn, forse, etc, running into form then who knows ?

We could well beat Man City this week too.

I hope we do but i expect a backlash from Man City after their defeat against the Baggies. Stuart Pearce will have them really revved up for this game.

However as Partisam has pointed out, our luck has to change at Man City's ground at some point and now would be the ideal time.

I think we can get 6 points from those games but it is too hard on our current form to predict where they are coming from.

i feel they are ALL games we can get something, if we go with same attitude that we played against fulham with.

Man City are beatable, and spurs are inconsistant... man u are on the wobble, so why not...

Form sequence on their last Five matches ( H /A):

Man City (A)……………L D W W W
Tottenham (A) ………D D W W W
Man Utd (H) ………….W W L W W
Chelsea (A) ………….W W W W W…………… Steve expects 20 points by HERE………..
Wigan (H) ……………. L L W W W

I may be a pessimist, but I don't see much wobbling, inconsistancy and Stuart Pearce allowing City to play like that again.

;)

If we can get 6pts from the first 4 and a win against Wigan would be excellent.

its a tough schedule but if we can stay in touch with those above us after these games we will have every chance of clawing our way out of the drop zone in january

Harry Redknapp is now saying at Portsmouth, the same that David S (and more recently Steve), have been saying for blues.

If we are adrift in January, they aren't spending ( who would come anyway, with class and ambition). ;)

So we need to be within a draw or a win of 17th place by New Year.
And this fixture list isn't the best is it?

Shame it took everyone at blues so long to wake up!
