I hate SOTV, except when we're playing them. It seems crazy that our loudest song is about our rivals, I want it to be about us.

I also hate the one 'Blues go down', I want to sing songs about us staying up.

I agree about keeping 'Keep Right On' because that is our anthem and belongs to no other club.

I still like 'The Cardiff Dance'

But I agree with you, we do need some more original ones, but whatever they are, in order to catch on they need to be simple with a catchy tune.

Taking it back before many of the posters on here were born, one of my favourites used to be to the tune of Cliff Richard's 'Bachelor Boy'

He said, 'Son, you are a Birmingham fan,
And that's the way to stay.
Happy to be a Birmingham fan
Until your dying day.'

That sums up us Blues fans perfectly

I remember that from my childhood. Around the same time that we used to sing "Hey Blues" to the tune of Hey Jude, wasn't it ?

I think you are right. We sang it for several years, so they could have over-lapped.

My old man said be a villa fan and I said f**k off you're a c***.
I am blue and I am white,
I hate the villa cause they're all she ite.
We hammered the Hammers, she ite on the villa
We are the famous boys from Birmingham.

I can't remember the rest, it's been about 10 years since I last heard it sang all the way through and then I couldn't work out most of the words.
