May I take this chance to thank the following -: The owners of the club for reducing the prices on this must win game. The management and the players for the effort and commitment shown in Saturday’s game against Fulham. It was great to see the players winning the 50/50 balls, and looking hungry for a much needed result. And finally the crowd who I thought was electric on Sat. The noise in the Tilton was brilliant, and the crowd certainly got behind the team and gave us the extra man. It really did feel like we were sucking the ball into the net - fantastic. When Nicky Butt scored the relief round the stadium was incredible. There were some outstanding performances, and Painter at left back had a very comfortable debut - long may it continue. The main ingredients that all Birmingham fans want to see are hunger & desire from the players on the pitch. If we still go down? At least we can hold our heads high knowing the players gave their all for our football club. Let’s hope we can push on and win some more games, if not in a tough fixture list in December, then January 2006 and beyond. Keep Right On....!!! Nick |
