I'm not sure if this is OLD, old news, or NEW, old news???? ;)

But who is the guy pretending to be David Sullivan????

http://www.4thegame.com/club/bifc/news/181...ed_to_city.html

".............Birmingham City's co-owner David Sullivan has insisted he is fully committed to the club despite its current struggles near the foot of the Premiership table.

The multi-millionaire has long been linked with a takeover at West Ham and it was rumoured Birmingham's problems may push that deal closer to becoming a reality.

However, he told City's official magazine: "When I bought the club, I said that when it was higher in the league than it has ever been before, I would think that I have done my bit and move on.

"That broadly still remains the case. Of course, I enjoy the club, fiercely support it, and have a close relationship with Steve Bruce.

Sullivan, who lives in Essex, did admit the day-to-day running of the club was not something he enjoyed anymore.

He added: "I do get worn down with the demands from the agents on behalf of the big players. With my working-class background, I find it extremely hard to justify paying someone £30,000 a week.

"I now also have two small boys and I miss them when I come to football. My girlfriend is great and she comes to all of the games, but it does take us hours to get to games.

"By the time we get home, it's late and we have missed the time we spend with the boys. In an ideal world, I would move the club 100 miles south.

"But, of course, that can never happen and, for now, with current results, the club needs me more than ever so I have no plans to leave........"

If he said that the day-to-day running of the club isn't much fun any more, then I think he'll probably enjoy a good ol' dogfight at the bottom of the table to liven things up again. He ain't gonna see us go down without a major fight and it definitely ain't gonna be boring over the next few months.

I read that in the blues mag its an interesting read as he says it as he sees it. and one suprising thing for me is that he does not believe in all the hype that comes with the prem lge. he likes to keep things real...... well love him or hate him he certainly does that.............
