With daft statements like that, you probably support the club on the other side of the City.

Remember one thing - Where did Steve Bruce bring us from? and would Barry Fry, Trevor Francis or Dave McKay have lead us to victories over AV? I dont think so.

Some people have short memories.

Errm there's more to life than beating the villa you know. i really do wonder sometimes at the mentality of some people who seem quite content to watch abysmal football so long as we beat the villa wtf**

just say what you think m8.

I will Mr T. I will.
I've been saying this since Sullivan announced that we were going to poach Bruce from Palace.
I'll still buy my away tickets and wear the cotton based training tops, but I look forward to the day when the words 'managers profile' in away programmes doesn't raise a snigger. (flat nose see)

You've got my support knowing that you wear the cotton based training tops - not.

Totally useless information like the content of ya posts - only my opinion.

You've gotta give Brucey the benefit of the doubt over the busy festive fixtures period and see if the team really can turn the season around
However he is going to have one hell of a job to keep his job by mid May......the ONLY way I can see this is by guiding Blues to their first MAJOR trophy in 42 years (either the Carling or FA Cup) or a Top Ten finish which would be outstanding considering we currently lie 18th

If we are relegated (and God forbid,I can't even contemplate that)....he will be gone,if we narrowly escape the drop he will be gone,if we finish anywhere from 12th place downwards I still think he will be gone

If we are still stranded at the bottom by early January and seemingly fighting a lost cause with little hope of improvement then I think Mr Sullivan should act without any further delay and start getting ruthless

As for successors,George Graham,George Burley or Martin O Neill would be my 1st choices followed by Alan Curbishley ........we won't get Big Sam and it might be a tall order to persuade O Neill, although he has worked with Heskey and Izzet and has years of Midlands connections....Allardyce will end up at Newcastle eventually although O Neill also remains a strong candidate for the St James Park hot seat

I'm behind Bruce for now but it's going to take an almighty effort (that includes the players) to ensure he is the manager of Birmingham City FC for the next few years to come

I've a strong feeling that Villa might be looking for a new manager in January too...it would be even tougher attracting a big name with them in the hunt too
