then why are the press commission saying they stick by the story? if sully had made it up they'd withdraw from it not stick by it....i think its 6 of one half a dozen of the other...frankly i wouldnt wanna play cards with either of em :o

Surely thats what Jordan wants DS to do. Just what we need at this time a slanging match done through the press. would'nt they just love that.

It is very easy to call jordans claims into disrepute through a lawyer though , sullivan was quick to shout last time, sorry Jordan is a divvy but i dont think he is silly enough to put libellious comments in a national newspaper <_<

i dont think that defending yourself from an attack is lowering yourself.

anyone who is acused of something or called a lier and they dont defend themselves i feel there might be an eliment of truth to it.

if you dont remember they were all gung ho 12 months ago and jordan got reprimanded for what he said.

so why so quiet no .?

unless there going through legal matters.

If Jordan was the owner of Birmingham, the fans would love his attitude. Similarly, if Sully was the owner of Parlarse I suspect our opinions would be similar to those we have of Jordan.

That being said, Birmingham's previous MO has been to tell fans they have bid for a player, but actually havent done so. Scott Parker is the best example. For that reason alone I suspect (but dont know) that we have never bid £6.5m for AJ.

Whatever though, it doesn't matter. AJ isn't coming, and I doubt that we will bring in anyone for a transfer fee exceeding £6m during the transfer window. I stand to be proved wrong.

We are a club not unassociated with spin. It happens every close season around ST sales time. Last year it was the mysterious £10m player. And Woodgate. And Bellammy. And Parker. And..., well I cant be bothered to list all of the spin and lies that have been told in the past.

All i want is for a successfull club run by an honest Board. Too much to ask?

bobafet its not as easy as sticks and stones though is it , what jordan goes on to say is sully is trying to make blues look more ambitious than they are while lying to us, trying to unsettle the player, now if i were in sullys size 3's i'd want a piece of jordan, he has made sully look like a proper liar, and a fool

How does anyone on here no who bid for who and who aint bid for who?

Is this a message board for chairmen and club directors?

No.

Is anyone on here married to or having illicit affairs with chairmen or directors?

Doubt it.

The only thing that we KNOW without a shadpw of a doubt to be true is that we don't know the truth!

And WHO CARES!!!!!

I for one am more concerned with who IS coming to the club ( if anyone! )

So lets put an end to this nonsense!!!

spot on diver , i think that what fans dont want is for the board to be liers or a suspect when these things happen so they believe everything they are told.

all the things you have mentioned have happened but some our fans seem to forget these things.

Its the Press Association , not Commission, Proccy.

The PA released the story of the AJ bid, and are standing by the fact that it was "issued" to them from a bona fide source.

Jordan has then barged in, saying this is old news, dating back to begining of December. And no "offer" was ever made.

The PA are standing by their story, as it was issued to them, LAST WEEK.

We are all waiting for clarification, because we don't like being treated like idiots, by Jordan or Sullivan.

Jordan's regular column in The Observer is a must read. Yes, he's a typical cockernee and he shoots from the hip but if you read it weekly, I think you'll find that most of you will agree with him more often than you will disagree.

Put him in charge of the F.A. I say, he'd make those freeloaders earn their money or ship them out.

thank you that (pedantic) correction mccp, much appreciated and helps no end :D

personally i'm with bobafettsabluenose on this - there's nothing we can substantiate either way, so why bother with it? as for being "laughing stocks" nobody has mentioned anything at work to me about us being so, or even mentioned the story at all, its just another ado about nothing ;)
