then why are the press commission saying they stick by the story? if sully had made it up they'd withdraw from it not stick by it....i think its 6 of one half a dozen of the other...frankly i wouldnt wanna play cards with either of em

Its the Press Association , not Commission, Proccy.

The PA released the story of the AJ bid, and are standing by the fact that it was "issued" to them from a bona fide source.

Jordan has then barged in, saying this is old news, dating back to begining of December. And no "offer" was ever made.

The PA are standing by their story, as it was issued to them, LAST WEEK.

We are all waiting for clarification, because we don't like being treated like idiots, by Jordan or Sullivan.

thank you that (pedantic) correction mccp, much appreciated and helps no end :D

personally i'm with bobafettsabluenose on this - there's nothing we can substantiate either way, so why bother with it? as for being "laughing stocks" nobody has mentioned anything at work to me about us being so, or even mentioned the story at all, its just another ado about nothing ;)

Thank you proccy.

Always the voice of reason and normality!

no probs, bb week on saturday 1pm, i'll help you spend your money on bud for me.... ;) :D

Haven't read all posts but read Jordan's statement...

He is a tw@

Jordan will do anything to rubbish BCFC after we got SB and his best player at the time, Morrison.

Our board should keep thier gobs shut on all matters Polarce.

I have no idea where the AJ stories keep coming from.

If DS has said something then he should have learned from past mistakes and keep quiet.

AJ isn't that good anyway. 11 of his 19 goals lasts eason came form the penalty spot, mostly earned when he fell over. He was lucky. He wouldn't get the pens for us. He'd be sent off for diving every week.

If Jordan was the owner of Birmingham, the fans would love his attitude. Similarly, if Sully was the owner of Parlarse I suspect our opinions would be similar to those we have of Jordan.

That being said, Birmingham's previous MO has been to tell fans they have bid for a player, but actually havent done so. Scott Parker is the best example. For that reason alone I suspect (but dont know) that we have never bid £6.5m for AJ.

Whatever though, it doesn't matter. AJ isn't coming, and I doubt that we will bring in anyone for a transfer fee exceeding £6m during the transfer window. I stand to be proved wrong.

We are a club not unassociated with spin. It happens every close season around ST sales time. Last year it was the mysterious £10m player. And Woodgate. And Bellammy. And Parker. And..., well I cant be bothered to list all of the spin and lies that have been told in the past.

All i want is for a successfull club run by an honest Board. Too much to ask?

Excellent post mate

To be honest I don't know who to believe .........But I'd love to find out who the TWO players were we were going to trade off

Maybe Jordan is upset 'cause we offered Tebily which has to be considered a P*** take in anyone's book

Another point is that Jordan might just be fanning the flames trying to get the TEN MILLION he wants for AJ

Not a chance in hell
