Who would you prefer to have out of the following recently linked to the club:- Earnshaw - £2 - 3 million Miller - £ 1 - 1.5 million (could be less as contract expiring in summer) Euell - £1 - 1.5 million Jerome - £1.5 - 2 million + add ons Todorov - Not sure on value Piechna - £750 k I will be honest I would take any of the above at this moment in time but would be split between Miller and Jerome. Euell would be next on my list followed by Earnshaw. This is taking into account what they would bring to the team and the transfer fee involved. Sorry originally missed piechna and todorov |

Earnshaw Jerome Miller Euell Earnshaw is proven at this level and has realy pace that can change the course of the game. Jerome is a good raw talent but a risk Miller doesnt really have out and out pace Euell - god no. |

whichever the powers that be think will serve us best. I have no particular leaning towards any of them cause i had hoped we could always do better but under the circumstances thats a fairly strong set of candidates. IMO Brucey will go for Euell. As a bargin bucket player he offers a bit in midfield as well as up top. IMO though he is not what were looking for. I don't know. I just want us to make our signings and for the window to close so we can play some football again and not Have to worry about who's going where in the transfer window. |

Earnshaw - Best of a poor bunch, but can't even get in the Baggies team. Jerome - Untried, but looks promising Euell - Can't get into the Charlton side ahead of Bryan Hughes and isn't a striker anymore. Miller - No thanks, No pace and ageing, "that's for sure" |

That's a bit unrealistic as Henry has just pledged his future to Arsenal. |

miller or jerome euell would be useful as he i think he plays as an attacking midfielder now just keep hearing bruce saying premiership teams dont want to sell etc at the moment not sure if he has the guts or the knowledge to take a gamble on someone from the lower leagues...cant recall too many gems he has unearthered so far !! miller / jermome /mcleod a gamble . . . .CERTAINLY but i honestly believe if we stay as we are WE ARE GOING DOWN |

To be fair though, I can't remember anyone else unearthing many gems either. Most lower-league players fail. |

Nemeth!!! Forgot about that rumour I should have just said "Please indicate which striker you would like at the blues that is no longer needed at his club due to":- a) Fallen out with his club due to an arguement/unproffesional behaviour B) Not scoring recently, but used to be a regular scorer. His recent drought is bringing about his sale c) A recent injury / spate of injuries d) Contract running out, club needs to off load and the player is looking for a big payday e) Generally not good enough for current club f ) Being too far down the pecking order at current club g) Player recently linked to move away from present club On this basis I would go for Anelka!!! However, due to the general rule that - "Birmingham will not pay £7 million up front" for a player. Any such deal would comprise of:- -£2 million up front -£2 million on appearances -£1 million if he scores 6 goals in a seasin -£500k if Australia win the next world cup -£500k if Tony Blair become the next predident of the USA -£1 million if we avoid relagation, win the FA Cup and get into Europe this season. Add to this the signing on fee and wages this would in any case make it an £18 million transfer. Or am I just being cynical. |

you have to wonder why clubs when offered a deal as good as that still turn our approaches down. It really must be tough for the board putting these packages together. |
