Its time to wake up and face the facts ,mr sullivan ,the golds ,and mr bunce are treating us like mushrooms keeping us in the dark and feeding us on b*lls*it,the windows been open a week and one old has been injury prone freebee has walked through the door, mr bunce wants 3 more before the end of the window, if he and they had known this all along then the players wanted should have been arriving on the first day the window opened.i doubt any more will come if we win and draw a game before the end of jan,but if we dont pick up many points from the jan games then the last hour lets see who we can get system comes into play,in other words lets panic.the board and mr bunce are supposed to have an eye on these message boards if so please prove me wrong and start buying now.

I will judge the board and Mr Bruce's efforts in the transfer window once the window has closed.

Unless i have been catapulted through time, it is not Jan 31st quite yet.

I expect the Blues to compete with the likes of Albion, Everton, and possibly Portsmouth this January. Despite Portsmouth having financial investment, we still have to compete or at least try.

All these teams are in a similar procarious position, therefore I will be judging how badly Blues want to stay up, by who we sign and who these teams sign.

Should we miss out on a suitable player to one of these, I will seriously consider the board and Bruces intentions.

Gotta say, so far Pompey are pulling out all the stops.
Olisadebe, the Zimbabwean, have improved their strike force, who next?

Very unfair posting andy wood, the owners have come up with the goods every time, they have done what they have said, you have no evidence for what you are saying.

As far as I know the owners have not committed to anything in terms of number of players, or spend for this window. Bruce has said he would like to bring in another two or three, but has not committed. Sutton is a class player in the majority of peoples eyes.

Pretty unfair of you.

I understand what you are trying to say here.

Basclly, the problems we've got now have been evident all seaon, so why wait until mid or late transfer window till you make moves on people.

Players should have been lined up and ready to go from Jan 1st, enabling them to play in as many fixtures as possible to help keep BCFC in the premiership.

sorry Pat i don't think he's being unfair, he's just stating his opinions and let's be honest the board are better at bidding for quality players we don't get than we are for quality players we do get.

we have had a news story over the weekend about AJ yet no comment from the board.

we have been waiting (as a club) for January for the last few mths, knowing we can use this time to bring in 2/3 quality players in an attempt to keep us up this season, so our targets should have been bagged and here by mid-Jan and as we edge to mid-Jan we only have Sutton - not exactly a saviour!

but then i agree with St Andy's, it's still fairly early in January to complain to hard, but let's just wait and see - this reminds me of last year!

is that not a contradiction Dr Nick?

we can blame the board for the contract we gave SB, but not for our current mess - surely the two are linked....

i agree with you though, the contract we gave him was not good work from our board, showed a complete lack of experience on their part and i credit them with more than that. it only makes it worse to hear Gold coming out and saying "even if we go down SB will still be the manager" - what is that about. surely a bit of job pressure never did anyone any harm....

Well the board are the ones who will be sanctioning transfers and wages in the jan window.

I wasnt talking about Bruces contract or position as manager. I was commentingly soley on the transfer activities.

to a sertain degree we can but dont forget at the time it did favour the board as we were about to lose SB to newcastle, but now in hiensite i do agree that it was a bad thing.

i thought they would of put a clause in that contract that stated 'if treatend with relagation after 12 months compensation is null and void.

we know how ruthless this board can be and both TF and fry were got rid of sooner than SB would of been dont forget this 20 months he has been poor not just latly.

so why is he still here ?

the only answer i can think of is his compo

yes i know but i think this is the board saying you have had enough money.

what i'm trying to say is there tightening the purstrings because they have lost faith in SB and i dont blame them.

The most succesful businessmen/women, always use other people's money.
They keep their own to themselves.

In that respect, its our money that has bought the players, the manager etc, and we only look to the board to put their money upfront, and reclaim it at Season's end from Sky.

As you say friend, deep, deep pockets.

I dunno.

A run of bad results and we're all fighting.

Can't we like, just chill.

Perhaps take one of those mushrooms and condider the planet we're living on. It's like a cake in space maaan, and we can all eat it. We can eat our home.

Far out . . . .
