JFH wants a lot of dough, a LOT of dough

And it will be the directors paying, not the club ('cause we're brassick)

Why would he want to come here?

i agree - if our strategy is to "swap" a player with pandiani's pedigree for one like euell and lose money on the deal we're going down for real!!
@hooby, who is jfh???

Jimmy Floydd Haslebank

If Pandiani is going to Espanol he going to the only other culb in Europe who is as bad as we are! I saw them play a couple of years back and they sent me to sleep!

since when were we in europe bear?? :o
i've watched espanyol on sky a few times this season, and frankly they'd batter us if we played them - the skill levels over there are so much higher than here ;)

Correct. The only strategy is panic. We have a manager who has wasted millions to take us from relative Premiership security (if you accept, as I do, that we very quickly adapted to become a Premiership club) to the brink of relegation.

There have been dealings bordering on the farcical, the AJ/Morrisson saga for example, the desperate, such as the Dwight Yorke purchase, and the absurd, such as replacing the likes of Darren Carter with Nicky Butt, and now potentially Pandiani with Euell. Not to mention the dismissal of Figueroa on purely egotistical grounds. The only consistency is that we have thrown money away.

We are placated by promises from the Board that they will 'finance transfers from their own pockets'. Hands up if you really believe that they are personally going to risk their own money on any deals instigated by Bruce, given his track record. They may loan the club money, but they'll get it back with interest.

This is not their money.It is the club's. And us fans, who really do dip into our pockets to finance it, are the club.

I do not want Bruce to waste any more of our money. The Board have to get a grip and fast.

Relegation or not. I want Bruce out as soon as possible. Make yourselves heard. It is your cash he is throwing away.

Pandaini's agent Quoted this earlier in the week. So why would Walter change his mind?

Quote:

Pandiani's agent Francis Martin said: "Walter did not want to move to Mallorca because he preferred to stay with Blues.

"Walter knows that things have not gone well this season but he still feels he can make a significant contribution and he did not feel that going to Mallorca was quite right."

doesnt mention espanyol though does he? and agents are less honest than politicians - its all about making a few quid to them ,nothing to do with the affinity with the club a player may or may not have... ;)

Point of order

Any money that the the majority shareholders and considreble stakeholders put into the club is classed as capital. Capital is calculated as debt that the club would owe. This is because the club is not a sole tradership a partner or a private limited company it is a PLC and therfore is owned pubicly so if you put money in you can expect to get the same money out (in it's basic form, excluding share price and floataion risks)

CAPITAL = DEBT

BCFC= THE BUSINESS

Not bad I suppose, only a £2 million loss in a few months. Another piece of sound business sense.

Don't believe that the £3m paid was just the transfer fee. We have track record of including wages, signing on fees and agents fees. The transfer fee will been a lot less and the agents fees wont be as high a you would imagine either. We will save a decent amount in wages though which might explain why Walter was so patient and doesnt appear to be that eager to leave.
