It's more that I just like the godfather, than the general mood of the film. I'm usually falling asleep towards the end though because it's not like I don't know what happens anymore

thats the problem with long films by the time you get to watch them you never see the end because you have to go to bed.

i dont know about you but i prefer to watch films at night.?

I don't often watch films, unless they're gangster films or like one of the classics that I never got to see (Scarface last summer). The last time I watched a film was Saw 2 and that was because a mate of mine had told me how good it was. Usually I only watch a film when I'm stuck at home off sick or something like that. I much prefer watching comedy series'

Withnail and I

It makes me laugh just thinking about it

"I have a heart condition. If you hit me, it's murder."

"This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels."

"Right, here's the plan. First, we go in there and get wrecked, then we eat a pork pie, then we drop a couple of Surmontil-50's each, means we'll miss out on Monday and come up smiling Tuesday morning."

In from the pub - The Godfather ...if I ain't working the next day....or a good suspense .....check out 'The Green Mile' with Tom Hanks, 'Seven' with Brad Pitt, 'American Beauty with Kevin Spacey and both the prequel AND sequel to The Lambs.......'Hannibal' (Anthony Hopkins) and 'Red Dragon' (Ralph Fiennes)
....gripping stuff

Cheery up films - a few have been mentioned already ...Airplane and any Mel Brooks comedy (Blazing Saddles,Spaceballs, etc) and Animal House was a classic.........also Dumb and Dumber still has me rolling over the floor as do the Austin Powers series

If you really like comedy.....check out 'The Rat Race' (John Cleese,Rowan Atkinson,Whoopi Goldberg) ..'There's Something about Mary' and 'Meet The Parents' (Ben Stiller)

As for HORROR - any Blues home game this season ............Seriously though check out 'The Ring' and 'The Ring Two'
