Or cycle more.

Use public transport

My petrol bills amount to next to nothing, and if high petrol prices encourage more people to use their cars more responsibly I'm all for 'em.

If your still using phrases like "pulling the chicks" the car is the least of your worries.

Do you not watch MTV?

Now we pull the ho's.

Get me, down and hip with the home's from the 'hood.

Errr, I think.

I can`t cycle to work, it is 25 miles where I live. The public transport from my village is 1 bus every hour and 1 train every hr + there is no diect bus to anywhere with 2 miles of where I work. It costs me £90 a month to get to work. So really I either move house, move work or drive some people don`t really have a choice.

No, I insist that you use public transport.

Get yourself a wheelbarrow for your kit >:o)

Obviously you can't cycle to work, why would you think I insist that you carry all your stuff around on a bike or on public transport?

I am able to cycle to work, so I do.

But I also own a car and use it.

I just don't use it for journeys I can use the cycle or walk.

That's all the eco-preaching I, err, well it's all I preach.

Well the Public Transport issue is down to the government.

Anyone with me when I storm the commons in a stolen red bus as protest?

I'm aware that not every journey (and for some people not any) journey can be made without a car.

But around 40% of journeys currently taken by car can be taken by cycle (under 5 miles).

I'm simply saying that with responsible car use the roads would be less congested, safer and we would see less pollution. And we'd all have a bit more money for Beer. Hurrah!
