I am thinking of training to be a teacher. I've heard that you need to have GCSEs in English and Maths before you do anything.

What would be the equivalent grade back in the days of O Levels/CSEs?

sorry that's a little before my time!!

what age you thinking of teaching? 7407 and cert ed can be a good route in if you want further ed?

you may not need maths and english if you are of a certain age ;)

good call on going older, I work in a college and its much better than a school, 2 my mates both teach 1 in secondary school and one primary, and they wish they had gone my way **thumbup
