I have used blueyonder cable for the past couple of years without any problems at all.
However I am moving in the next couple of weeks to weymouth - unfortunately no cable company in that area so will have to get off BT or another company

BT 1M

Have been on it for years. It has been fine.

Don't have cable here anyway.

Considering changing sometime, just for the change. Demon feedback is inteesting. Do I need cable for that?

@pat - demon are very stable, and have been around years. they are predominently business orientated but have expanded more into consumer areas recently. they send you a couple of micro-chips to insert (like the standard connector, not hard) in your phone line box, and hey presto! it interferes with nothing and for £19.99 month 2mb isnt bad. i just like the reliability and speed of it.
my mate is with bulldog who are similar in many respects, but may even be cheaper; i'll be trying them in the summer i think, but am reluctant to bin demon as they've been brilliant. **thumbup

Thanks for that Proccy. You don't happen to know whether they support home network do you? I have a two PC net here at present, with a BT provided router/hub. Couldn't find anyting quickly on demon's web page. Need to do more delving I think.

i think they do pat, but ring them on the number on their web-site. as well as being the best provider i've ever been with, the tech and customer helplines are amazingly friendly too - and no i dont work for them or get any commission :D

Telstra for the Broadband

Vodaphone for the laptop (mobile broadband).

Both are excellent.

I don't think BT do, do they?

I know they supply roters etc, but do they send an engineer to inspect faults beyond the router?

I bought my router when I signed up for BT broadband, so it is mine to keep. I wouldn immagine yours is the same so you should be able to use it with any other ISP that provides ADSL.
