Hi guys and gals, Sorry I haven't been very active on these boards recently, it's because I've been having a lot of personal difficulties lately. I've been very ill recently with depression, and have took it out on people close to me. I'm unhappy where I am, and EVERYTHING about where I live is getting to me. I had a weekend break with my Dad and his girlfriend last weekend (27-30 Jan) in Kidderminsiter which was a welcome release, and felt like heaven. I enjoyed it so much, I didn't want to go back to Coventry at all. There was no nagging, no fuss, no moaning...HEAVEN. I have also had debt collection agencies phoning me on my mobile asking for payment of that bill that was run up by the lodger that took Dad's place at home. My sister has told me to ignore them, and say it wasn't my fault, but they haven't harrased me for two weeks, so I think they've got the message. My Dad is selling the house on in the next two months, to fund a move for him and his girlfriend as the flat is a bit too small. My relationship seems to be "in limbo". This isn't due to probs between me and him, oh no. Living here has taken it's toll on me a lot, and the sooner we move out the better. I've filled in a council form and sent it off, so fingers crossed. It's really getting to me here. I mean there was some discussion about money under a month ago, and I thought why doesn't his mother work. Staying at home, just to get the housework done is a poor excuse for can't work, won't work. It's 2006 not 1946 for heavens sake. If you moan about money, do something and find work is my motto. I mean, I'm trying to find work, but I KNOW there is hope on the horizion as I have had callback from two places. At least I've done something about it, not whined and used every excuse in the book to avoid work. I planned to go back to live with my Dad three weeks ago. At least there, I'd be happier and better off, but I don't want to be unfair on them as it's his girlfriend's flat, and they need time to themselves. On a positive the bit about the jobs, also I'm doing an Open Uni course in Politics, which I love :) I'll be posting regularly on here now, and it's good to be back on here. KRO P.S - Bruce has signed three quality players this window. |

Thanks AFF :) I do something similar but with a secret notebook I keep in my drawer, but I don't want to go public with the stuff in there, as it's strong and if anyone here "accidently" logged on it, I'd be in deep doo-doo.
Regarding that Luke, the relationship is a cross between not going nowhere, and near-perfect. I mean, I've told him to get a part-time job to combine with his studies, and he hasn't...I've even thought of asking my Grandad for the money to get out, or using the social to pay the rent! A part of me would like to go and join Dad and re-build my life, while the other part is crying for "make things work" and really push for a move. |

I believe Blogger, Wordpress and Livejournal have the options to keep things secret from the world. But obviously it's your choice. Good luck with your problems although I'd urge you to go easy on someone about finding work. I'm in a position of looking for work at the moment but my confidence is so low that I don't believe I can do *anything* relating to work. Even looking at the Job Centre website fills me with anxiety. |

Where did you mention about me? (I'm a nosy git) Getting out of here is not a pipe-dream, but I don't want to return to Birmingham, as it's "unliveable" almost. Apart from the excellent shopping centre, and the brilliant BCFC, it just seem a place not to live in. Whether it's the fact, I've lived in Coventry since July, I don't know, but it's not really a living place, especially my old road. |

I had no choice, it was coventry or bust, and I was getting depressed anyway living at that house in Stechford. I would recommend Kidder or maybe outside Coventry like Rugby. |

Glad to see your back CovBlues - i was wondering where you had been for so long. Try and not let the personal stuff get you down. Remember we only have one shot at this life and there are always people in a worse situation than yourself. You have your health, you have your family, friends and a roof over your head - thats a hell of a lot more than can be said for some people living in this world. |
