the players should give there wages back to the fans and publicly appologise if not then drop all of them for the next game if you do the easy thing and sack steve then these same players will do the same to the next manager
gordon taylor should take a hard look at the situation where players are allowed so much muscle to dictate to a club

I totally agree with him. Sacking Bruce this late into the season would be suicide. There are no credible replacements out there. No manager would come to the club knowing that his reputation and and probably career is on the line with so little time to turn things around. It is the players who should take total responsibility for last nights disaster and most of the previous disasters. They are the players who have not committed themselves to the club, 100%. Bruce has he demonstrates he has by his actions. He paces the touchline with passion, frustration and anguish. Do you see the players doing the same on the pitch. No, you don't. Not the majority of them anyway.

Bruce deserves more support, not less. He deserves the boards backing not just in words but also actions. Funding for instance. Do you think DJ Campbell was Bruce's first choice striker to go and buy in the transfer window. Of course he wasn't. The manager is limited by the resources he has at his disposal and lets face it, at the moment he has hardly anything worth shouting about.

Get behind Bruce and we might stay up this season. Be negative, call for his head and we will definately go down.

Disagree with that.

If we go down he can blame brucie (not enough time to turn things around).

If we stay up he's a saviour.

No lose.

Totally agree with you Mr Penguin.

Any caretaker manager that came in would not really be under a lot of pressure.

I'm not convinced. So we attract the best manager with what. By stating to them that they are in a no loose situation. I can see them knocking on Sullivan's door now.

It don't work like that. Ok, maybe it does for the lesser known who want to get into the big time, but not for managers with proven track records, the ones that we want to either keep us up or bring us back up straight away. The Paul Jewel's are a rarity. At the moment we can do no better than Bruce.

It would appeal to somebody like venables or keegan

£250k no risk for a few weeks work

£500k bonus if they keep us up

Not saying that we should, just saying that there would be plenty of willing caretakers.

Yes Mr P lets get KK because he covered himself in glory in his last job didn’t he? Or TV his last few years as a manager covered himself in glory didn’t he?

SB will admit to making mistakes but it has to be put into context. The money he has had to spend has been minimal considering every player that got us into the prem needed replacing. And if we go down SB has a good record. Huddersfield was at the top of the league until his chairman made him sell the best players. Where was Crystal Palace again?

It’s no coincidence that Portsmouth are now on a role. How much did they spend in the transfer window? The real reason behind our demise is trying to stay in the prem on the cheap.

And it don't work like that in football either - If the board bit the bullet and relieved us of Mr Bumble there'd be applications on DSs' desk within 48 hrs.

There are managers out there who'd jump at the chance of a few pressure free weeks.

And in all this everyone has missed one good manager who we could like as not atttract to St Andrews - He's currently turning Cardiff in to a pretty good side that plays football not hoofball and he isn't spending fortunes to do it

Dave Jones.

What has Dave Jones achieved in his managerial career that places him in a better position that SB. Failed to keep Wolves in the Prem and couldn’t get them back up. Didn’t pull up any trees at Southampton and isn’t setting the world alight at Cardiff. If we are going to replace SB and I’m not in that camp I think we need to aim a little higher that Dave Jones.

We are deffo going down under Bruce he is too negative hence 0 goals he plays players out of position...... I don't buy the injury excuses!! he aint got a clue when it comes to tactics the reason he got rid of Bowen, he didn't agree with Bowen's tactics so he found some1 who agreed with his own tactics =result Blues are going down if it don't work you have to change things & find a solution, this hasn't happened & isn't going to happen over the next few weeks - the players don't want to play for him it's as simple as that really, I don't blame them it's all too negative!!

I think I'm in better position to know what he's doing at Cardiff - and I know what the Cardiff fans think of him and the love him. He's got them right up around the play offs after they had a dodgy start .

As for his record well his stats stand up to scrutiny

SACK Bruce and give each fan who went to that mess of a game a ticket to the next home match where each player comes out and personaly appologises for that farse. Then maybe I might feel a little bit better.
