i've waited 24hrs to post this, till i'd calmed down a little but i'm still hurtin.i've sat down today and workd out how much money i've spent this seaon following the blues, and with 2 season tickets (1adult &1concession), 2 away tickets, my son & i have been too most but not all aways, by the time i've brought a proggramme, summat to eat and drink, coach fares etc, etc. I reckon by the end of the season i'll ave spent about 2,500. now i consider my self lucky to have a fairly decent job, but this still represents over 10% of my gross salary. I would like to ask all of tose over paid, underworked prima-donna nancy boys. what exactley ave you done to deserve to get your money grabbing little hands on my hard earned cash. Its high time we got shot of these money grabbing, wates of space and replaced them with players that have hunger and desire, (there must be some out there) I know players like Benno, Kenna,Grainger,Purse,Gill,Devlin,Johnno,Horse<O'Conner, etc, etc, etc wernt the most gifted players to wear the blue shirt but they gave 100%we seem to have swopped good honest pro's for players who dont give a to55 about the team or the supporters, so long as they get their big fat pay checks they dont give a damn. Perhaps they should donate 10% of their wages and it could be shared between the fans that were there last nite. theres an idea hey........

That's part of the problem the players don't relate to the fans anymore -we're there to provide them with a luxury lifestyle and they seem to think they owe us nothing.

Fortunately it seems as if Sully feels the same way, so at least we will be rid of the worst of them in a couple of months time.

You've pretty much summed it all up. I think the main reason for success in our first two seasons, is that we had a large number of players that appreciated the league they were playing in. They played out of their skins week in, week out, because they feared being dropped, losing their place and potentially never having the chance of playing Premiership football again in their career. They all knew in their own hearts that once better players started to roll into the side, they would be lucky to ever play in the top flight again, so they all took their chance and worked their socks off for every minute of it.

Some of the players we have now are just in a comfort zone, most feel they have nothing to prove and are either living on a reputation or on past glories for clubs they have played for. What does it matter now if the high earners end up getting relegated.... no problem, they just get their agent to find them another club, move on and do the same thing all over again.......
