Hey Guys, i was just wondering how to get to Old Trafford Via Train??? I'm going up on Sunday but i have no idea what trains to get or if there is a station next to Old Trafford. Help would be appreciated. Thanks! (And if anybody has any tips of how to commit suicide in Manchester if the game is as bad as Tuesday, that would also be appreciated greatly, Thanks!) |

Should of booked a cheap down return already. 8 of us went last saeson - £15 return on train. Make sure you get a bus/metro/taxi to the ground from the city centre. Last year we had af ew drinks in Manc city centre and then decided to have a walk and break the journey will another couple of pints. Everyone was very helpfully in the city centre pointing out the way etc - and stating it was 15 min walk at the max. However distance to the ground from City centre was nearer 3 miles and we were knackered by the time we got there ---- and even more knackered after we had to walk back after the game as well because the metro was pack. HEED THE WARNING -----DO NOT WALK. |

When you arrive at Piccadilly, get to the metro station. Take either a tram going to Eccles and get off at Exchange Quay or a tram going to Altrincham and get off at Old Trafford - whichever tram arrives first. Both stations are about the same distance from the ground. Follow the crowds. |
