Blues have now become the laughing stock of the whole country, everyman and his dog want to tell a joke about Blues and we are the butt of joke comments on every radio and TV station.

Examples
Sky TV - whilst talking about the next games Blues have " Next up for Birmingham City are Manchester United Ha ha ha ha"! "No really Birmingham have some quality players, ha ha ha ha"!
5Live - the serra leon team has gone missing from the commonwealth games to which Nicky Cambel says "A bit like Birmingham the other night ha ha ha"!

The list goes on but I really can't be bothered as I think you get the drift.

The only way we will get any credibility back is by firing Bruce and his crappy backroom staff.

If the board had got rid of Bruce after the Everton game like many were asking, we could have got a good replacement, (Ranieri was my suggestion). I'd be surprised if Martin Allen would want the job now.

Look at the Newcastle example. A talented squad under Souness couldn't do a thing right. Souness could point to terrible bad luck with injuries, but the fans could see it was a lot deeper than that. He was tactically poor, too negative despite having some good creative players, and playing people out of position. Does this SOUND FAMILIAR??????

What did they do? Got rid of Soeness and it was like a black cloud suddenly being lifted. Roeder sorts out the defence and suddenly they're on a winning run and mid-table. Need I say more.

Unfortunately it's too late for us now. :(

Agree with all of that apart from the last line - It's not too late.

Perhaps it should occur that some people accept that a change of manager may not prevent the slide of relegation but at least a change might allow someone different to come in instill a bit of pride, passion, organisation and belief back into that Royal Blue Shirt for the remaining nine games. I can't see the last nine games being any different from the previous 29 games.....

If the team turns up for the next two games with the same attitude and character as they have done for the past three games, then the cricket season will have started early.....

There was a thread on here the other day that asked the most pertinent question.

Who gets to spend all this new investment that Sullivan alluded to, on new players?

Bruce - cos if he's around he'll be wanting his choice.

If they sack Bruce, will the replacement be here whilst the window is open; or do we wait till January before the new manager gets his choice?

And, worst of all, how do they get money off us if Steve Bruce is still here?

;)

...and get nothing?

Be serious, the thing that stiffens Bruce's backbone is money.
It was money, and a ludicrous contract that made him "a loyal manager" at the time of the toon raiders.
It was money that helped make him a figure of ridicule with his gargling advert (can just see Curbishley, Allardyce etc doing that <_< ).
It was money that made him walk out of his contract at Palace.

Steve Bruce is motivated by money. Not achievement, not pride, not endeavour.

Money.Money.Money. So he will never walk without a deal being done.

And don't forget that Bruce will have an agent (sorry, I mean "advisor") who will not let his client leave without a nice fat pay-cheque - as he will be relying on his slice of that big fat pay-cheque to no doubt have the alloys on his Rolls Royce gold plated

and i think a DEAL will be done in the summer

!!

if u notice gold said barring any contractual difficulties he would still be our manager next season

i think the contract is such that if we went down the compo would be more agreeable
