The first thought when the players were out last night at the County Ground, Leyland ( must seem bizarre after 30,000 - the attendance was 86 ) was what the hell was Robbie Savage doing playing for us. A second look was that it was in fact a player I'd never seen before by the name of Jamie Price, an academy product. What a player. He'll be a star. He played a bit like Savage and boy did he get stuck in and he can play. I was impressed again by Ollie Allen and why Mat Sadler is not in the first team squad I can't understand. Kilkenny was ok, kept trying the killer ball but took his goal well. He followed up onto the far side of goal on the right hand side after a run down the left by Sadler. The two goals they scored were a bit of a mess. The first partly ( in my opinion ) down to the fact that we had 11 players in the penalty area for their corner. They had three or four players. We got in each others way and in it went. From the County Ground to Old Trafford. |

i've not understood the Mat sadler situation, i know he had a severe injury but when he played before he looked promising, i don't understand why Bruce seems to have overlooked the guy. |

Quality post. We could do with more feedback on how reverse players are performing from people who know what they are talking about. |

I've seen Sadler a few times, he looks like a half decent player. What about that Ojo lad? I've seen this boy play and have been fairly impressed. I've been touting his name around here, because i think its high time we drew attention to the fact that Bruce neglected what we had in favour of the tried, tested and failed Past his sell by date, Kenneth and Martin Taylor. I think this guy could be somebody. You look at Curtis Davies and all the hullabaloo over this guy, why? bcos hes getting games, and with games comes growth and confidence. Why Bruce contniues to hold our players back, barring his son of course, i dont know. ...I'd hate to look back on things 12 or so months from now, and see one of our chicklets, struting their stuff clad in another jersey. We've got some talent, and arent using it, if circumstances dont go our way, we'll probably be losing all this talent. |

I am looking forward to Jamie Price Eventually breaking through into First team football i think we may have saved ourselves a lot of money on a player when he does **thumbup . Speaking to one of the Directors of Cheltenham Town( My Driving Examiner **thumbup ). They really were gutted he left as they could see he is going to be superb |
